DIPS in thought
Jake over at DRaysbay has a little interview with Voros McCracken the author of Dips. He has left the Boston Red Sox and now has a new blog. If you don't read the story I liked this quote. I probably would have snorted at it when I was 25. Now I think it rings true.
JL: Words of wisdom to baseball fans everywhere?
VM: Some of the people for whom you have criticism (often rightly so) are sometimes some of the nicest people in the world. Pat Gillick, for example. Go after bad ideas, but be kind to the people who have them.
Also if your one of the few readers who is not a regular reader of Dodger Thoughts, Eric Stephen put together some great analysis of the NL rotations and Nate combed through the 2007 box scores to come up with a rough estimate of Kuroda's ground ball ratios.
