Around SBN: Cal RB Jahvid Best Seriously Injured, Carted Off Field

Beautiful Riffs

Carlos Santana is hot. He can evidently handle a bat as well as his namesake, can handle his Gibson Les Paul. He has now surpassed Andy La Roche as the hottest Dodger in the minor leagues with Andy going on a whiff tear with 6 k's in his last 6 at bats. Santana's July/Aug numbers are now:
Plate Appearances - 115
Walks - 20
ExtraBaseHits - 16
Home Runs - 6
BA - 305
OB - 426
Slug - 610
OPS - 1036
Update [2007-8-8 12:8:41 by ToyCannon]: My numbers were a bit off. Sorry, here are the latest.

That is
Great for Santana, but over the same period Andy's numbers are better that that

Plate Apps - 101 (July and August)
Walks - 14
ExtraBaseHits - 22
Home Runs - 12
BA - 376
OB - 452
Slug - 861
OPS - 1313

Let's hope his back does not have any lingering affects

True
I didn't say Carlos was better then Andy over the same time period only that Carlos was now our hottest hitter. If you looked at Aug you'd see Carlos with an OPS of 1300.
