Chad could pile

up 10 K’s and it won’t remove the stench of that 2nd inning. Now he can only go around 5, six at the most. You can only keep the 1-5 down for so long. If you are going to let the black holes beat you there is not point in getting the good hitters out.

I was ticked earlier

but the job of the bullpen calmed me down. Cub fans have to wondering how they lost 3 games in a row to us.

We might need

another Manny 3 run bomb……but Furcal just struck out.

Getting shutdown for three innings by Philly’s bullpen is sad.

Philly

has a good bullpen. It was the difference between them and the Mets.

by Chzburger Jones on Oct 10, 2008 4:45 PM PDT reply actions

They hit the middle relief lottery, it’s not the same.

Yea, but a 3 run blown save is a different story.

this is is over. Onto the Dodger Rays.

Brett Myers beats women. That is all.

And the Dodgers.

Brad Lidge

is due for a blown save. That’s right. I’m not giving up until it’s over.

by Chzburger Jones on Oct 10, 2008 4:58 PM PDT reply actions

Lidge has been incredibly scary for a while, this is possible.

Alright

a walk and a knock will tie it up. Though I don’t exactly have 100% faith in Kemp right now.

Hell of an AB there.

Great game all around for James really.

I take back

any bad thought or thing I have said about Matt Kemp. He is my hero.

by prosellis on Oct 10, 2008 5:04 PM PDT reply actions

If Lidge gives up a blast right here

then maybe he will have another psychological meltdown like after the Pujols homer in the post-season a few years back.

you’re killing me with these jinxes. Not that I believe in superstition.

Well at least

We didn’t trade for Sabathia. Otherwise right now we would not have Manny or James McDonald.

by Chzburger Jones on Oct 10, 2008 5:35 PM PDT reply actions

matt kemp swings at everything. he’s worst than ryan howard. holy shit. i’ve never been so disappointed in my life

Matt Kemp for president.
Adrian Wilson for vice.

rollins, utley, howard, and burrell

they combined for 2-14 9Ks 5BBs. besides the 5 walks, we absolutely limited their best hitters throughout the night. unfortunately, victorino stepped up and so did brett myers (i can’t believe i just said that) to make up for their lack of offense.

this was a winnable game.. hopefully we win the 3 games at home to take it back to philly.

Matt Kemp for president.
Adrian Wilson for vice.
