The two Chicago teams might have the worst CF D in the playoffs.

I think I might buy Randy Newman’s I Love LA from itunes so I can blast it if at anytime in the future the Dodgers win.

I like Art Brut’s “Moving to LA.” Andrew’s right. That’s the best LA song.

I got the album that song was on. It’s great.

One of my favorite in recent memory. My most played list on iTunes is almost entirely Art Brut and The New Pornographers.

New Pornos are good, but Destroyer and Neko Case’s solo stuff are absolutely fantastic.

by the big grabowski on Oct 2, 2008 9:14 PM PDT up reply actions

I’m actually not a fan of Neko’s solo stuff, most of it is too slow. I like upbeat stuff way more and the Pornographers are great at it. I have had Bleeding Heart Show on repeat the last few days though.

Yeah I can totally see that, I usually listen to it in the mornings. Have you heard Destroyer? He is one of my favs, his early stuff is acoustic and kinda Lo-Fi, middle stuff is Bowie-esque and the recent albums have been more rocking.

Nope, I should check him out.

I’d like to reiterate last night’s call for Frank Caliendo’s death by fiery crash.

They even played a commercial today where Frank dressed up as Dr. Phil and said don’t get angry about all these ads because they’re going to shove them down your throat until you watch the show. I was not pleased.

There’s lots of them that realize America hates Frank Caliendo. I have no idea why they don’t take the hint instead of torturning us.
