NLDS Game 3

Chicago Cubs at Los Angeles Dodgers, Oct 4, 2008 7:07 PM PDT

I'm at National Sports Grill with some friends so I sadly won't be joining y'all. Just assume I would have said "more like HIroki Kublowda" at some point.

Yes. Yes it is. Everybody else actually left to go watch the game tonight. Or are over at Dodgerthoughts.

I’m with you on that one.

Disappointed?

You just not have been there. I was. It was sold out, it was a 9 to 1 Dodger to Cubs fan ratio (a NICE change from the regular season where it seems to be half and half), the place went batshit insane with every score and every time Kuroda had 2 strikes on a Cubbie EVERYONE stood up and waved those towels. WTF are you even talking about? Did you watch it in a bar w/ the sound off? There were numerous points I couldn’t hear myself think, my voice is gone and THERE’S STILL RINGING IN MY EARS AT THIS HOUR!!

by Seanny Rotten on Oct 5, 2008 2:42 AM PDT up reply actions

I wasn't there.

Congrats,

I knew the Cubs had burned whatever karma they had built up from 100 years of failure when they acted like a-holes during our “home” series in Milwaukee. Of course, they acted like that throughout the rest of the season, too.

Plus, the Dodgers just played like monsters in the last three games. The Cubs played like shit. They played better tonight, but the Dodgers were still a hell of a lot better.

Good luck in the NLCS, and thanks for taking care of those smarmy dicks.
