Dodgers Decline Penny option
saving 7 million in the process. Good move?
Our current rotation is
Billingsley, Kuroda, Kershaw
Hoping to get help from McDonald and possibly Elbert
Is anyone expecting anything from Schmidt?

Prior to his injury problems this year
Brad Penny was one of the best pitchers in the game. When he’s healthy and in top form, he is worth more than 9.25 million dollars a year (the value of his 2009 if it would have been picked up). Yes, it’s always a risk by bringing back a pitcher who just came off injury but Penny is a bonafide ace. We probably won’t get Sabathia anyways since the Yankees are going to throw the universe at him, making him forget his desires to hit in the NL and play on the west coast.

Good Riddance
Penny had talent at one point but he made the selfish stupid mistake of pitching through pain. Costing the team games when he got shelled and costing the team down the road when he wasn’t available to go.
There’s plenty of better options out there.
You know what? Fuck you Sports Gods, fuck you.
