They explained why on TV, his parents put together a get out the vote for him when they allowed to fans to vote for who they wanted a bobblehead night for. I don’t think Beimel is what they expected if they were hoping to draw fans to the game. Given the way they are playing the will need more give a ways.

Season right now reminds me of last August. Not that Kent is the problem but how long are we going to have a 40 year old 2nd baseman as our clean up hitter?

Sure hope Andy comes back with a healthy thumb, the job is his for the taking.

With the weaknesses of the Angels and Mariners it looks more and more like Oakland can be competitive this year. They need another pitcher and 3rd baseman. A healthy Chavez and Harden would sure have been nice right about now.I
