I really don’t think that was a strike.

Dear Joe Torre,
Please realize at some point Kemp is better than Ethier.

Please realize Pierre is the worst of the four.

I’m just trying to be realistic.

I respectfully disagree
Ethier is our best outfielder

If that’s true, we’re in trouble. He’s a good defender but he’s below average offensively.

ethier
Career 295 hitter, 355 obp and 464 slg (which is coming on) 26 HR 130 RBI in only 900 abs
Best defensive outfielder, even over andruw jones and hits to all fields, plus his power numbers and stolen base potential is growing. Plus I think he’s a hard worker and just like the way he plays, if we give him a chance to play everyday he will be a 300 hitter.

And that makes a 107 OPS+, which is below average for a corner outfielder.
He can improve, maybe get a little more power, but he doesn’t have a very high ceiling. He’s a nice player to have, but he’s not the guy you want being your best outfielder.

That was a strangely strong throw by Pierre right there.

Apparently Francouer’s relatives couldn’t hit a curve ball either.

The fans look really upset that they have to do the Tomahawk Chop.

Since Kuroda has gone to crap after 60 pitches this year, I’m a bit concerned.

Whoo Russ!
I did like Steiners call of “whoa that’s well hit!” on a ball that made it one row up.

Once again the Carmax question is biased.

Headed
for last place as Sanchez is living up to my hype on him. If the Dodgers can’t break through what should be the worse bullpen in the majors they deserve to get swept.
In the beginning the slow start with the bats was attributed to the quality of the pitching. Can’t use that excuse now. As we head out to play the Reds we will miss their aces who is dealing today. Hopefully we can do more then hit solo home runs.

The Dodgers have never overcome for than a 7.5 game deficit.
It’s seems like I shouldn’t have to mention that fact on game 18.

Insert easy joke about Beimel getting more balls hit back to him than anyone.
