Pierre must of just hit three shots in a row, because he’s on fire!

I’d like to see Ethier do that many little things.

You mean stealing a base or hitting a sac fly?

Let me ask you this. Is there a point for a fast runner to steal 3rd? Does the risk outweigh the gain? Because you only steal 3rd so you can score on a sac fly or groundout, usually. He’ll score on a hit anywhere.
And He Got It!
I like it. While Andruw might be pressing, he’s not swinging at bad pitches (at least in this AB). Redman didn’t give him anything to hit, so he didn’t swing at a bad pitch.

Do not like swinging at the first pitch after three walks.

Agreed. And according to Gameday, that pitch looked off the plate. But a single is a single.

Redman makes me wonder: Who’s the worst player ever to be named to the All-Star team? Mark Redman? Mike Williams? Scott Cooper?
Someone from the Royals in the last 15 years?

I’m glad this game is already over, won’t feel bad leaving in an hour.

You really love your Battlestar Galactica parties.

I did really like the big high five between Martin and Loney.

If my internet connection wasn’t so slow, I would’ve gotten MLB.tv. Then I could’ve seen it. Was it an awkward high five?

Purple Row doesn’t seem happy about this development.

Redman’s ERA is now 9.14. It was 5.43 half an hour ago.

Maybe Hurdle is just going to concede the game, which he should, and let Redman pitch a few more innings. I feel sorry for Redman. This type of performance doesn’t help you stay on a team.

You can’t get mad at a person who has a persistent aggravated groin problem.

Nor at a man with an anal fissure. Whatever that is. Sounds gross.

Are you worried about Penny’s lower K rates? It seems he might be sacrificing K’s in order to pitch more effectively. I remember reading Oswalt said a few years ago that he was going to start pitching to contact more. And that’s worked for him so far.
Sounds serious if the ambulance is coming out, and there’s a delay of game. Where did the ball hit him? How did it happen?

Martin just straight up missed the pitch and it got the ump in the neck just around his neck flap thing.

Sounds like they’re taking him out. I really don’t see any other way around that. Hopefully he’ll be fine.

I’m actually going to go see the English Beat tonight.

That concert must start late if it’s already 9 and you haven’t left.

Steiner just said that Dan Evans is an agent for one of the Rockie’s players. When did that happen? Last I heard he was a special assistant to Ken Williams or something like that.
Sorry, the M’s not the Sox. But it looks like it happened recently.
