Game Thread 5: San Diego Padres

Los Angeles Dodgers at San Diego Padres, Apr 5, 2008 12:55 PM PDT

Jake Peavy takes on Estaban Loaiza in what appears to be a huge mismatch. Petco's dimension's play right into Loaiza's strength as a strike thrower, so I wouldn't be surprised if we got a good performance today. That's what she said.

yep

thank goodness, after I read the post I thought something bad may have happened to Penny that would have led him to be benched today.

Damn It!

Juan Pierre is starting again! 4th outfielders don't start this much.

My heart hurts now

The pain!

Penny's not looking too hot (my powers of observation are outstanding). Looks like we may see Chan Ho Park at Pet Ho Park today.

GOOOOOOOO!

Great catch by Ethier!

Billy Beane must be hating life whenever he sees him play. How'd Milton work out, eh?

True

And the 8-9 more he'll get for Harden/Blanton in July.

Well, Balls.

That sucked.

One of the few times I get to see the Dodgers all season, and its a CH shutout for Peavy,

OR...

A CG shutout. I'm a bit drunk, sorry
