Okay. I’m really back tonight. No more saying I’m back then taking a 2 hour nap.

Sadly, I’ll only be around for hour one of this game.

You’ve got better things to do?

Dinner and things of a dinner like nature.

Pickoff Attempt on Andruw Jones? Don’t they know he doesn’t steal bases anymore?

by Tango and Cash on May 14, 2008 5:09 PM PDT reply actions

Wouldn’t you just feel bad if Jones got a rare hit and you just picked him off?

It’d be like throwing out the unathletic kid in dodgeball. You don’t feel great for doing it.

by Tango and Cash on May 14, 2008 5:13 PM PDT up reply actions

You’d think having Jones barrelling down at you would be too indimidating.

My bro and I traded George Sherrill for Brett Myers in one our fantasy leagues. Myers has given up like a thousand runs in his last 2 starts. Great trade by us.

by Tango and Cash on May 14, 2008 5:14 PM PDT reply actions

Yeah, he’s throwing 88 and making me upset.

I can’t believe Sherrill already has 15 saves. We might’ve been able to get more than just Myers.

Just another walk for DeWitt.

Derek Lowe with a 1-2-3 inning? I didn’t know he could still do that.

by Tango and Cash on May 14, 2008 5:19 PM PDT reply actions

It was nice while it lasted.

Why isn’t Vinny doing these games? Does he not travel this far east?

by Tango and Cash on May 14, 2008 5:25 PM PDT reply actions

Nope. He only does NL West road games.

Why are you getting Mexican if you’re on a diet? Isn’t Mexican anti-diet food?

by Tango and Cash on May 14, 2008 5:34 PM PDT reply actions

Pretty much. It’s not a horribly strict one, just a general eat healthier kind of thing. Plus I cut enough fat that I don’t look bloated any more, so I’m trying to add muscle.

Damn it, DeWitt. Stop swinging at pitches outside the zone.

by Tango and Cash on May 14, 2008 7:48 PM PDT reply actions

Nobody should swing at anything. Mota’s pitching everyone away and outside.

by Tango and Cash on May 14, 2008 7:51 PM PDT reply actions

According to Gameday pitch data.
