I’m sure there’s a very good reason Sweeney is starting instead of Kemp.

by Tango and Cash on May 17, 2008 2:07 PM PDT reply actions

Is there a reason Maza is starting everyday. If I recall, he was brought up to be the utility infielder, and not Furcal’s literal replacement.

by Tango and Cash on May 17, 2008 2:10 PM PDT reply actions

Because Joe Torre wasn’t the magical quick fix he was advertised as.

I don't think we're the league leaders in that category..

1) Boston Red Sox: Papi, Youk, Pedroia, Drew, Tek, Delcarmen, Beckett, list goes on…
2) Chicago White Sox: Ozzie, Swisher, Crede, Jermaine, the list goes on…
3) Dodgers: ?

Our main offenders did shave, but Ethier and Loney were looking terrible early. Kent, Penny, Lowe, and Beimel are all on there.

frickin loney

every time he throws to 2nd it’s an error. first bennett and now loney. 2nd to last in the league in errors last year and it looks like the Dodgers haven’t improved. at least chan ho pitched well. WAY better than loaiza or tomko would have done. hopefully he can bring up his K/BB ratio. and Kuo is a K machine. let’s hope Lowe can pull off a miracle on 3 days rest tomorrow.
