Vinny does all NL West and home games all 9 innings on TV. Not sure if he has a partner. But for the 1st 3 innings on the radio, he does it by himself, then after that, it switches over to Steiner and Monday.

I was going to a Reds-Dodgers game at Great American, and some announcer started talking about how much Jimmy Haynes sucked, and this was a few years after he was gone. I love Jimmy Haynes.

prolly not quite as crappy on offense, and not quite as great on defense, but still potentially darn good.
by cesarhernandez on May 20, 2008 7:44 PM PDT up reply actions
he was a prospect once upon a time
he’s got a good defensive reputation, but not much of a bat. You won’t likely see him playing in the majors in 2013
What do you mean, "blank slate"?
borderline, I'd say
He’s a bit old for a prospect, but he was a college boy. He was on Rice University’s national championship team. Has a reputation for having an excellent glove and not much of a stick.
But he’s been hitting very well this year (in an admittedly small sample size). He would still be in AAA if not for injuries to Alex Gonzalez and Jeff Keppinger.
