Andrew, What Are You Doing?
You just compared Kershaw to Highlander 2? That movie’s so bad and makes no sense. Now, he’s having a terrible start. Look at what you did!
I thought making a tired joke would work out well.

Also,
The Tagline to Highlander 2 should have been:
There should have been only one.
I stole that from somewhere, but can’t remember where.

It’s very funny, you should claim it.
Of course, I think I hate Highlander more than any man since my ex forced me to watch six seasons of the TV show.

I thought the show was good. And all the movies except the first one sucked.

Did you watch six seasons of it. Consecutively?
I did manage to get myself banned eventually by sing along to the theme song as loud as I could.

The most I watched was one episode per day about 10-11 years ago when it was on in the evenings. I would actually want to watch that with someone if they’d sing the theme song like that.
And I wouldn’t want to watch six seasons of it consecutively. She must’ve been into what, sci-fi/fantasy, I guess? The Highlander’s the only type of that show I like, but she probably made you watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Charmed and all that other stuff.

Basically, except she hated Buffy for about four years after I met her and I kind of liked it. She finally actually watched it, then watched everything Joss Whedon made in about two weeks.

For the record, if they had made 6 seasons of it, I would’ve watched 6 seasons of Kids in the Hall consecutively.

Giving up a bomb to Castillo puts you in a rare club.

Castillo and Kemp both have 3 homers. Pathetic.

Kershaw suddenly looks mortal. I still haven’t been able to see him throw one pitch this year.

He should be able to get Tatis out. Unless Park’s been giving him tips on how to pitch him. Shazam!

I was offered Kershaw for a mid round draft pick in my league. I said no because I thought he wouldn’t really help me until 2010, and I didn’t want to dump Alexi Casilla.
I’m regretting that decision right now.

I’ve also dumped Garrett Atkins so I could keep Chris Shelton, and Russell Martin so I could hold on to Andy Marte.
I’m bad at fantasy.

Hey, that Atkins for Shelton thing looked really good for a month.

Did you have Lew Ford on your team, too?
by Tango and Cash on May 30, 2008 5:17 PM PDT up reply actions
Really? I used my #2 waiver pick just to get him for my ‘08 league, which actually helped me get Brett Myers and Oliver Perez, since I got them with my #10 waiver pick, which I got after my waiver pick went to the bottom.
I like how all that turned out. Perez got dropped because of a bad start, and Brett Myers is still good.

Why isn’t Kemp hitting homers, too? He’s killing me. He needs to hit some homers and steal some bases. My fantasy team depends on it!

There's A Fight About The Tigers Going on in my Fantasy League Message Boards
I want to interject, but want to look informed, so I need your expert opinion. Do you think the Tigers crappy pitching was to be expected? And besides Verlander, will any of these guys bounce back?
I wouldn’t say expected, but it was a possibility for The Train, Robertson, and Rogers.
I’ve never like Dontrelle, his comparables were all guys who collapsed before age 27 and he was declining hard every year after his one really good one.
Robertson is one of those marginal guys that could fall off the table at any time, and Rogers is just old.
Plus replacing Inge with Cabrera really hurt the defense.

Dammit, now I have no reason to not watch Lost when I get home.

Chan Ho Park isn’t good enough reason for you to watch the game?
by Tango and Cash on May 30, 2008 5:38 PM PDT up reply actions
What I’m going to do has a lot in common with what will happen with Chan Ho in there.

The correct answer would be:
Get hammered.

CLAYTON KERSHAW 4 PRESIDENT!
