Thank God the Rockies don’t have Brook Fordyce.

Apparently they don’t need him.

Looks like it’s a Chan Ho day.

Wow, if Matt Kemp keeps taking routes like that I’ll like him even more.

5-0 already. Looks like Derek Blowe is pitching today.

by Tango and Cash on May 4, 2008 12:34 PM PDT reply actions

Sorry. 3-0. He still blows today, though.

by Tango and Cash on May 4, 2008 12:35 PM PDT up reply actions

On the bright side, he’ll be out of the game pretty quickly at this rate.

I think Hu needs to gain some weight.

He should start eating those mashed potatoes chicken bowls from KFC.

by Tango and Cash on May 4, 2008 12:47 PM PDT up reply actions

I was thinking eating nothing but Chipotle.

I’m not sure if Hu could even finish one burrito.

by Tango and Cash on May 4, 2008 12:50 PM PDT up reply actions

I’m sure after enough reps he’ll be able to handle it.

He could start out with the bols, too.

by Tango and Cash on May 4, 2008 12:58 PM PDT up reply actions

He needs that tortilla if he’s going to bulk up. There’s 300 free calories in that thing.

omg

I didn’t know those wraps were 300 calories…hoy fuck! But my god are they good.

by JLS23 on May 4, 2008 1:02 PM PDT up reply actions

Yep, Chipotle is really, really, really bad for you. Until I realized this I would take in way more there than I would at any other fast food place.

You’re going to die anyway.

by Tango and Cash on May 4, 2008 1:05 PM PDT up reply actions

You might as well go down eating Chipotle.

by Tango and Cash on May 4, 2008 1:05 PM PDT up reply actions   1 recs

Heck even the “healthy” thing I get there now is 640 calories and accounts for a third of my fat for the day.

by Andrew on May 4, 2008 1:05 PM PDT up reply actions

I dont get chipotle often

but when i do i enjoy and think nothing of the calories

by JLS23 on May 4, 2008 1:08 PM PDT up reply actions

It’s hard when you have someone assigned to call you fat if you dare eat something unhealthy.

Then you say “Well, I may be fat, but I at least my stomach doesn’t hurt.” Then they say, “What are you talking about? My stomach doesn’t hurt.” Then you immediate ram your fist into their stomach and say a one-liner.

I find

The thing that works best is to eat whatever the hell you want in moderation. Nothing else works for me. I love unhealthy food, thats never going to change. Of course Im not trying to lose weight, just maintain where Im at.

by JLS23 on May 4, 2008 1:16 PM PDT up reply actions

Yep, that’s pretty much the key. I’m not crazy about it (I still go to Chipotle) but the only things I’ve really cut out are non-poultry met and baked goods.

What about candy bars?

I have a fun sized one daily, so it’s in.

Candy bars are good. Whenever I see a new limited edition, I can’t not buy it. Although I’m still upset I can’t find 5th Avenues in most stores anymore.

call me crazy

but i still dont want to resign furcal. i just have this irrational fear that all our big signings will suck for us. Who’s playing second for us next year? Hu? Furcal? Ma-El? ODog?

by JLS23 on May 4, 2008 1:18 PM PDT reply actions

Abreu or Hu I’m thinking. Hudson is going to be really expensive.

Co-Author Of The Fourth Most Popular NL West Based Blog On SBN

by Andrew on May 4, 2008 1:19 PM PDT up reply actions

And isn’t Abreu just a cheaper version of O-Dog (maybe slightly worse)?

by Tango and Cash on May 4, 2008 1:20 PM PDT up reply actions

I’d think he’s a lot worse, Hudson has better patience, power, and defense. Problem is that he’ll be 32 and cost 15 million a year.

Agreed

ODog is the kind of Torii-Hunter-esque move I could see Ned making. Boo. That woud be bad. We already have wasted a ton of money on rewarding past performance.
