PrintOnce Andy LaRoche gets 40 more at bats, I'm going to have to pick a new favorite prospect, probably sometime around June 2009. Since my man Bridger Hunt has been relegated to organizational soldier status, I'm going to have to find a new standby. I ranked Andrew Lambo higher than most when we did the community top 30 prospects, and this breakdown at Baseball Intellect makes my decision feel justified.

I played against Lambo
when we were in high school and I guarantee you he’s the real deal. We played some scout ball together too and saw him perform against some of SoCal’s best. Give it a few years and you’ll see him in Dodger blue.
