Also, after his 5th start, you’re going to run out of movie titles, unless you stick to horror franchises. Although that would be pretty sweet because eventually Kershaw will be in space, just like every other horror movie icon.

Or in hell.

I’d prefer space, especially after seeing Leprechaun 4: In Space and Jason X.

Rockies aren’t putting out their best lineup today. I hate Ryan Spilborghs. Why doesn’t that guy just K?

by Tango and Cash on Jun 4, 2008 12:18 PM PDT reply actions

I think that might be their best lineup.

The team isn’t so great without Holliday, Hawpe, and Tulo.

How do you hate Ryan Spilborghs anyway?

Because he wouldn’t strike out last inning, and instead walked which raised Kershaw’s pitch count. I didn’t hate him until 10 minutes ago.

Anyone who gets struck out by Cook deserves to get DFAed.

I can’t believe Pierre K’d. Kemp Ks on everybody, so that’s not surprising.

Vinny just called Kershaw “Clayshaw.” Oops.

by Tango and Cash on Jun 4, 2008 12:31 PM PDT reply actions

I now hate Jeff Baker. Where does he come off hitting homers against Kershaw?

by Tango and Cash on Jun 4, 2008 12:34 PM PDT reply actions

I’m starting to think calling up a guy when he only has two pitches might not have been the best idea.

I thought he had a changeup, too.

by Tango and Cash on Jun 4, 2008 12:37 PM PDT up reply actions

A bad one, from what I’ve heard.

Or should I just go with “he had his chance and he blew it?”

That can be the tagline for the next gamethread. We’ll use it to motivate Kershaw.

What’s Kershaw’s pitch count?

by Tango and Cash on Jun 4, 2008 12:39 PM PDT reply actions

53

Oops. I meant his pitch limit. I doubt they announced it. You have a good guess?

by Tango and Cash on Jun 4, 2008 12:41 PM PDT up reply actions

It was 70ish last time.

I need to run some errands after this inning. Maybe even pick up some more of that new Mountain Dew. There’s nothing better than limited edition sodas.

I’m back. I see I missed nothing.

I was at lunch.

You didn’t miss anything, either. Except another loss.

by Tango and Cash on Jun 4, 2008 2:59 PM PDT up reply actions

I noticed that part.
