Around SBN: Matsuzaka Dominates, Sox Grab ALCS Lead Bar-right-arrows

Woo Hoo

After blasting Joe and his lineups for 1/2 a year we have this lineup to ponder. Tonight  we are fielding a one eyed center fielder, a guy named pee wee, a tired Canadian catcher,  a washed up HOF, a crazy eye/legged first baseman, Andrews favorite,  our only matinee idol, and a career minor leaguer to help Clayton get his first win in 2008.

It is crazy enough that it just might work.

Kemp, CF
Young, LF
Martin, C
Kent, 2B
Loney, 1B
LaRoche, 3B
Ethier, RF
Maza, SS
Kershaw, P

At least Joe is consistent. If you have speed you get to lead off.

I expect Furcal this weekend. This team is desperate, if he can play SS in AAA he can play SS for us. Let Nomar and Jones Rehab, Furcal could play on one leg and help this team.

"Furcal could play on one leg and help this team."

You mean like last year? :)

Of course even the .270 .333 .355 he hit last year would be a huge improvement over the black-hole replacements. Plus defense. In all seriousness, who know is the back will affect him more or less than the ankle did.

RE:

Sad to say but even last years numbers would be a huge improvement over what we have gotten from our non-Furcal shortstops this year. Dave Anderson would be considered Hanley Ramirez.

only with Ethier and Young flipped.
