I’m sorry. He has incredible stuff and tons of potential, but none of that amounts to anything in the big leagues if you aren’t ready. We can’t rely on him to be a rock in our rotation if we’re planning on making the playoffs. He is far too inconsistent and needs more time in the minors.

I don’t think “overrated” is exactly the right word there. Every Dodger pitcher in these two games has given up at least a run. It’s Coors Field – can’t draw too many conclusions from pitching there. Other than Jimenez was really good last night.
