What You Think Of When You Put Your iPod On Shuffle

I hate that the Dodgers play "I Love L.A." when we win. Despite the title Randy Newman doesn't actually love L.A. It's an ironic thing. We might as well just play "Los Angeles" by X after we win.

After devoting all of six seconds to thinking, I realized that there really isn't that many songs that paint L.A. in a positive light. If we lower our expectations for songs though, whole new avenues open up. I suggest "Moving To L.A." by Art Brut as the Dodgers new victory song.

Yeah, he's not all that enthusiastic about coming here, but he's at least considering a move to L.A. That's not too bad.

If I want to listen to a song about moving to California, I’d be looking for something like this.

I wish I had watched that video before I used all my downloads on eMusic. I’m getting that album when my downloads refresh.

My favorite part about Art Brut is I can sing along to them without completely butchering the song. My coworker says I’m worse than the guy, but I don’t see how since all he’s really doing is talking with an English accent.

I love Los Angeles by X. That band rules.
