Another good line up out of Torre

I like our chances.

If it wasn't for college football I'd probably have given up on sports.

Loney leading the Dodgers with 6 Triples is so crazy.

I bet Pierre is really jealous.

by the big grabowski on Aug 14, 2008 7:32 PM PDT reply actions

It is pretty crazy

considering Loney is a first baseman and Dodgers stadium supposedly limits triples.

If it wasn't for college football I'd probably have given up on sports.

by bluemax on Aug 14, 2008 7:40 PM PDT up reply actions

And especially crazy because Loney looks like the slowest runner evar.

by the big grabowski on Aug 14, 2008 8:21 PM PDT up reply actions

Although Andrew said it really doesn’t anymore after they installed the new seats.

by Tango and Cash on Aug 14, 2008 8:22 PM PDT up reply actions

Conor Jackson is even slower

and he’s got 6, too. (Although Stephen Drew leads the team with 9)

Manny Ramirez and the Dodgers: Filling the dubious shoes left open by Barry Bonds and the Giants.

This game is moving extremely fast

4th inning already?

If it wasn't for college football I'd probably have given up on sports.

by bluemax on Aug 14, 2008 7:51 PM PDT reply actions

Sorry, I’m late. I forgot the game was on.

by Tango and Cash on Aug 14, 2008 8:18 PM PDT reply actions

Max, when you going to get an icon?

by Tango and Cash on Aug 14, 2008 8:18 PM PDT reply actions

An icon?

The avatar thingies? I disabled them so I guess that’s why I haven’t bothered to upload one.

I’ll use something from my random images folder on my work computer.

If it wasn't for college football I'd probably have given up on sports.

Okay done

and what not.

If it wasn't for college football I'd probably have given up on sports.

Is that Mike Haggar from Final Fight piledriving a shark?

by Tango and Cash on Aug 14, 2008 8:50 PM PDT up reply actions

Yes indeed

I believe it was drawn by a guy at Capcom but I don’t remember who exactly.

If it wasn't for college football I'd probably have given up on sports.

I think I like that better than Bill Cosby eating a giant ice cream cone.

by Tango and Cash on Aug 14, 2008 9:00 PM PDT up reply actions

Is that what the generic one

looks like?

If it wasn't for college football I'd probably have given up on sports.

by bluemax on Aug 14, 2008 9:04 PM PDT up reply actions

No, it’s the one I picked.

by Tango and Cash on Aug 14, 2008 9:05 PM PDT up reply actions

Ah right

I’d know that if I had them on.

If it wasn't for college football I'd probably have given up on sports.

Everytime Nomar makes a play, I cringe.

by the big grabowski on Aug 14, 2008 8:26 PM PDT reply actions

Nomar with a shot to the warning track.

Brett Myers

did not want to throw Blake a fastball. Didn’t work too well.

If it wasn't for college football I'd probably have given up on sports.

by bluemax on Aug 14, 2008 8:55 PM PDT reply actions

It’s fun to enjoy Blake’s offense while we have him. Not so much his defense.

by Tango and Cash on Aug 14, 2008 8:56 PM PDT up reply actions

And cry ourselves to sleep

as Andy LaRoche matures the next few years :(

If it wasn't for college football I'd probably have given up on sports.

Why do we keep letting Chris Coste on base?

by Tango and Cash on Aug 14, 2008 9:06 PM PDT reply actions

I’m really glad Torre let Kuo out of the exile he was a month or so ago.

by the big grabowski on Aug 14, 2008 9:13 PM PDT reply actions

He's been pretty awesome

and getting use in high leverage situations. Funny what losing Scott Proctor did for this bull pen.

If it wasn't for college football I'd probably have given up on sports.

by bluemax on Aug 14, 2008 9:15 PM PDT up reply actions

Yeah seriously. Oh Scott Proctor, how Torre loves you and your rubber arm.

by the big grabowski on Aug 14, 2008 9:22 PM PDT reply actions

Kuo getting the two inning save? Or is Broxton coming after Rollins hits.

by the big grabowski on Aug 14, 2008 9:27 PM PDT reply actions

My guess is the two inning save.
