More then just Manny

With Manny doing nothing the first two games in Colorado it was up to the rest of the team to make some hay and they did just that. The current Ace and future Ace shut down the Rockie offense and the Dodgers have now pushed their  lead to 4 1/2 games. It was two weeks ago we were 4 1/2 games back and now we are sitting with a 94% chance of winning the division. Save to say I've never seen a turnaround this quickly by a Dodger team. 

To really rub it into the Diamonbacks they were beaten by the guy they traded for Dunn. Given the anemic offense the Diamondbacks are displaying these days they could have used the bat of Micah Owing who is a much better hitter then pitcher.

Blake DeWitt is showing some serious plate discipline these days. He took three walks tonight and refused to swing at a pitch outside of the strike zone. All the while he continues to play flawless defense and looks like he has been playing 2nd base his whole career.

Saito rejoined the team tonight and free agent bust Andruw Jones was put on the 60 Day DL. Hopefully this is all just a bad nightmare for Andruw Jones and he can restart  his career next season.

Kuo had a cortisone shot but should be ready for action tomorrow.
