Elimination watch, 9/15/08

Two weeks to go and things are getting tight.  The Tigers, Indians, Yankees and Blue Jays are all in danger of being eliminated before the week is out.  This would make for a four-team race for the final three playoff spots, which could be exciting.

Nothing's changed in the NL:  Giants, Rockies and Marlins are still the teams w/ Tragic Numbers under 10.  But now we've a tie for the wild card.

12 more teams remain to be eliminated.

AL Teams eliminated: Mariners, Royals, Orioles, A's, Rangers

NL Teams eliminated: Nationals, Padres, Pirates, Braves, Reds

The Giants' tragic number to finish with a worse record than the Dodgers is 4.

Dodgers' best possible record: 90-72
Dodgers' worst possible record: 77-85
