There are now 4 teams with Tragic Numbers under 10 in the AL: KC, Baltimore, Oakland and Texas, with the Royals closest to being gone within the week (tho the AL Central seems to want to be mediocre). 

The Nats are on the line of elimination as they only have a mathematical chance of tying for the division.  Other NL teams w/ Tragic Numbers under 10: Padres, Pirates, Braves, and Reds.  The lame NL West teams will probably all have a mathematical chance until the last day of the season.

The Giants' tragic number to finish with a worse record than the Dodgers is now 16.
