They’ve done that before, where they acknowledged an article is so over the top that it might be specifically baiting them in order that all the people who read FJM go to that site and read the article, thus getting more hits. But they’ve never dealt with an article where it looks half satire/ half genuine.

So, when Ned Colletti wins GM of the Year, it will beg the question — has a GMOY ever been fired in the same season that he won the award? Or does this mean that he’s going to have a blank check to do whatever the heck he wants next year?
