DeWitt seems like an odd choice
He played all year and didn’t miss any significant time.
McDonald makes sense if the plan is to stretch him out so that he can be worked as a starter next year.
Don’t really get Hoffmann either.
DeWitt probably lost a good two weeks worth of games in travel time. :)
Not to mention sitting on the bench of the bulk of his MLB stay.

Also, Mariano Duncan is going to manage Lincey.
So the Dodgers probably asked him to take DeWitt and McDonald.
