Hey, first time on a podcast, I thought he asked good questions, many of you may not be happy with how I think our rotation shapes up for this series, but hopefully I kept my diarrhea of the mouth to a minimum.

If anyone is interested, I’m about 2/3 of the way in.

That was going to be my first question. At about the 14:15 mark.

Good job Phil

I thought most of your answers were spot on. Padilla scares me too. I’m not too thrilled that’s who I get to see at DS tomorrow. I hope his voodoo curse or the warranty on his soul sale doesn’t expire until mid-November.

The one other key bat I thought of is having a right-handed bat other than Manny have a good series also, primarily thinking of Kemp or Blake. They should have opportunities to do damage, especially in the starts by Hamels, Lee and Happ, the lefties.

Phil

You sounded way too reasonable to be a sports blogger, where was your “we will take you down” statement.

All kidding aside, nice job.

Padilla Worries Me, But...

I think what Joe is considering is that since Padilla is our real hot-hand at pitcher right now, I’d much rather see him at home with the home-crowd on his side in a pitcher’s ballpark than on the road pitching against lefties in that backyard ballpark in Philly.

Having our real two and three going against their one and four in their house levels the playing field a bit in our favor.

Other than the random awkward pauses (no doubt do to conferencing issues), commendable, and very modest performance Phil.

Joe was gold in the Division series

I hope that streak continues tomorrow. I’d love nothing better then to see Padilla throw another gem. Unless it was Billingsley relieving a struggling Padilla and throwing a gem, with the Dodgers winning in the bottom of the ninth on a Thome shot to center against Brad Lidge.

If I witness a game two like that, following the NLDS game two I recently saw, well, holy cow!
