hey Eric
what was that warning all about??
pedro SUCKS
in the first few innings.. then he gets settled down.. we have to jump on him EARLY!! and OFTEN!!
hes made 9 starts this season and given up 3 leadoffs homeruns!!!!!!
i dont remeber a dodger pitcher this whole season giving up a leadoff homer and hes giving up 3 in 9 Starts!!!! WOW
we tie this thing up today
its anybody’s series

Agreed
Think about Philly at home, even CO grabbed one game from them. No reason we shouldn’t be able to do the same at least once, if not more.
WHAMMY!
The Phills have to be scared of Pedro
C’mon, they can’t seriously be thinking he’s a lock! He’s a crapshoot. They are rolling the dice, and if it works they look like geniuses, and if it doesn’t, well they won last night so they will probably feel that is okay.
We gotta win today, WE HAVE TO!
WHAMMY!
I'm beginning to hate the Phils
more than the Pod People. Its hard to hate a team that sucks as bad as SD, where as the Phillies are decent, but so damn smug, especially Victorino, that dude has man boobs and needs another ball thrown at his head!
WHAMMY!
i hate how victorino runs
i hate how big ryan howards nose is
i hate chase utleys hair
i hate how jason werth was let go when he was with the dodgers
i hate how rollins get so much credit for being such a good leadoff man and has a .296 OBP
i hate how ibanez is so damn annoying
and i hate how cole hamels looks gay
and i hate that big thing
on brad lidges face
there are padres haters out there?
i had no idea.

exactly
they’re such an afterthought that i didn’t realize anybody actually focused any energy on them

LOL @ John Kruk
sayin Pedro still has a 95 MPH fastball
Kruk's a caveman
That one nut wonder needs to just come clean and admit he hates all baseball played in the mountain and pacific time zones, and he only just barely tolerates baseball played in centra. He believes the only baseball that counts is the ball played in the east. He’s a Philly man to the core, without an ounce of objectivity.
WHAMMY!
him along with the rest
of ESPN. Just look how nobody gave us any credit for beating the Cards.
by desecrator09 on Oct 16, 2009 1:06 PM PDT up reply actions
NOBODY
Gave us a credit, its like there was just this vast shocked silence amongst sports media, like “huh, what happened to the Cards.”
All they talked about was the Holliday error, like somehow that one error accounted for all three wins by the Dodgers.
Just disgusting.
WHAMMY!
Lookin at the Phills numbers
againt Padilla it makes you feel a little uneasy. Throw those numbers away now
Pound their entire lineup inside
and dont walk ANYBODY
The Yahoo box score pic of Padilla makes him look like a catfish.
And not of the Hunter variety.
Our old Vince
Is better than their old Pete
We can do this!
by insomniacslounge on Oct 16, 2009 1:12 PM PDT reply actions
Getting out of the first inning unscathed was my biggest worry for Padilla:
He seems to function better when we give him a lead.
Now, let us try and give him a lead.
taking a 'long lunch' at a sports bar?
That where I wish I was

they're still at work
they actually have lives unlike us lol
by desecrator09 on Oct 16, 2009 1:13 PM PDT up reply actions
Best song to represent Padilla
“NightCrawler” by Judas Priest
Wheres Eric
he needs a warning for that
by desecrator09 on Oct 16, 2009 1:16 PM PDT up reply actions
Do we worry about those pop outs
Had they got just a bit more bat, they might have gone somewhere. If Padilla slows, we might be in trouble.
WHAMMY!
I doubt that we'll win 1-0
We need to put some runs on the board and early.
by insomniacslounge on Oct 16, 2009 1:15 PM PDT up reply actions
I wondering what happen to everybody...
Didn’t know the game thread was up. Thanks again Bluetrek :)
i know i'm biased
but i feel that umps put a huge strike zone on kemp

apropos of nothing
F you, delino deshields!!
(even tho it isn’t his fault the dodgers traded pedro away)

great news about Nancy Bea though
just read that over at DT
William Doolittle at your service, a.k.a. will do.
if we ever scrap the live organ thatll be a sad day
William Doolittle at your service, a.k.a. will do.
who you guys want to win it all
if we dont win this series?
the yankees
but too bad the dodgers are going to win it
padilla WILL give up at least 1 home run today
lets just HOPE they are SOLO shots
hehe
dont tell me your mad about that too
by desecrator09 on Oct 16, 2009 1:26 PM PDT up reply actions
his fastball really has great movement on it though
William Doolittle at your service, a.k.a. will do.
A large thighed individual may disagree
Along with most of the bullpen, but in terms of pure stuff, he’s certainly ahead of wolf kuroda and garland.
forgot about him
id say they’re about the same
by desecrator09 on Oct 16, 2009 1:26 PM PDT up reply actions
if only he had a billingsley breaking ball
or a kuroda slider splitter combo..
or a garland change up
or a wolf curve
this guy is all fastball with below average secondary offerings
he doesnt deserve shit
but ill be happy if the dodger score 10 in the next inning
ok...crowd starting to fill in
now we start hitting those popups….but this time the white towels work their magic!
:)
by insomniacslounge on Oct 16, 2009 1:28 PM PDT reply actions
I’d also vote for Shane. And if he happens to rupture a testicle on a failed catch, that’s ok too
by insomniacslounge on Oct 16, 2009 1:31 PM PDT up reply actions
That'd be AWESOME
Can you imagine the “Cry’n Hawaiin” standing shell shocked after trying to ring a ball on his cock!
WHAMMY!
I'm never going to Dodgers Stadium unless I know the game isn't near to sold out.
Its a fucking lot easier to get around a game that only has 30,000 showing up over a sold out crowd.
So I went over to the dark side
To see what Philly fans are saying on the Good Phight, not much to report, they are talking about Fringe and drinking games, and crap.
They are a bit surprised by Padilla
WHAMMY!
Everyone is a bit suprised about Padilla.
We’re all just expecting him to lay an egg, which could still happen.
request: don't start any flame wars over there
I’m not saying you have. I just hate it when fans do that.
by insomniacslounge on Oct 16, 2009 1:33 PM PDT up reply actions
I'm merely observing
No comments from me, I don’t care about them that much, what is it the Good Book says about “not casting pearls before swine?”
That’s how I feel about Phillies fans
WHAMMY!
This is why I said I would pay Padilla $12 million for a one year deal
…I don’t know what went wrong in Texas, but I have loved what I have seen from Padilla since he became a Dodger. 94-97 fastball, good breaking ball, good change-up, good command. Nice delivery. When we dream about Chris Withrow and Ethan Martin and what they might become, is THIS it?
when he gives up a solo shot
will you still stick by this comment?
by desecrator09 on Oct 16, 2009 1:33 PM PDT up reply actions
making a mistake like that will happen
walks lost the game for us last night, as long as he doesnt do that we have a shot
William Doolittle at your service, a.k.a. will do.
good changeup???
wtf?
i have never seen him throw a changeup
he only throws a cutter 4 and 2 seamers and a curve
lol Skip Bayless
said Dodger fans should start panicking. God i hate that man
I find my quality of life is vastly improved
since I gave up ESPN
you should here the shit
the guys on Around the Horn said
by desecrator09 on Oct 16, 2009 1:36 PM PDT up reply actions
hell yes
I gave up ESPN (except for live college football) almost by accident. I just started going to NFL/NBA/MLB network if I wanted to watch highlights of those sports.
I’m a much happier sports fan now.
by insomniacslounge on Oct 16, 2009 1:37 PM PDT up reply actions
Skp Bayless is the biggest tool ever
He is wrong all day long, never admits hit, and he hates, HATES, all LA teams. But he sticks his nose up in the air as though he is so right about everything. Ahhh, what a freakin’ moron, I’d love to watch someone just deck the dude square in the vagina!
WHAMMY!
actually i like some of what he says
he was the first to jump on lebron for acting like a spoiled stuck up brat
William Doolittle at your service, a.k.a. will do.
Supposedly when Skip started the Aikman rumors
Troy called his agent and asked how much it would cost him if he knocked Bayless out. When he heard the number, he decided it wasn’t worth it.
by insomniacslounge on Oct 16, 2009 1:38 PM PDT up reply actions
Phillies are a better road team than a home team.
If Colorado could win a game in Philly, then I think we could do that too.
a fucking PERFECT GAME
i cant believe hes throwing a PERFECT GAME
William Doolittle at your service, a.k.a. will do.
Mark Burhle status
however you spell his name
by desecrator09 on Oct 16, 2009 1:37 PM PDT up reply actions
pedro has gotten 4 popups
a weakly hit dribbler and a soft line drive that was going to land in the infield..
NICE
Pedro can't be this good right?
All MLB teams are equal but some MLB teams are more equal than others.
Question
if Lambo is OUTFUCKINGSTANDING in the AFL, would that replace what people see him of what he was during AA? Small sample size? He’s tearing shit up right now. I know I know… one game.
What our pitchers do will be taken into consideration.
If Aaron Miller excels in the AFL, it will just increase his status.
the afl is a big time hitters league
they say some pop ups are home runs
lol fuckin Kevin Blackistone
said baseball has been ugly in the postseason so far because when the Rockies lost the lead to the PHillies in game 4. Uhhhh, thats called a blown save smart guy
im going to stick a fork in my head if Ruiz keeps this up
William Doolittle at your service, a.k.a. will do.
dammit belliard
i have to think O-Dog wouldn’t have made the same mistake
by insomniacslounge on Oct 16, 2009 1:43 PM PDT reply actions
oh my goodness he was long gone if raffy hangs on
William Doolittle at your service, a.k.a. will do.
is gameday lying
or did padilla actually throw a 55mph curve
I thought my eyes were lying
So I checked Gameday
I'm getting some disturbing flashbacks:)
All MLB teams are equal but some MLB teams are more equal than others.
Someone need to remind padilla every inning that he's a free agent.
All MLB teams are equal but some MLB teams are more equal than others.
Phil Simms does too
Torre can’t help being an old man. But he’s old like your kindly old neighbor is old, the one you like, not your crochety old grandfather, that’s Bobby Cox.
WHAMMY!
Watched the first few innings at lunch
Looks like Padilla’s 2 seamer is getting about 95 mph, which is outstanding
LETS GET SOME HITS
Eh! Take some pitches, make Pedro work, get him frustrated with the ump, get his gerry curl all in a bunch, DO IT!
WHAMMY!
hey guys what should i order
from Chilis to go??
No brainer
Their spicy chicken sandwhich, don’t know what its called, big piece of fried chicken, tomato, ranch, and Franks red hot sauce, oohhh man, so good.
WHAMMY!
will do hehe
i was leaning toward the Fajita Quesadillas but I try this one out. Thanks man!
by desecrator09 on Oct 16, 2009 1:59 PM PDT up reply actions
o shit
totally forgot about that… get the fijita man its great
nah ive had it before
and its great but I dont go here often so i’ll try that fried chicken sandwich out
by desecrator09 on Oct 16, 2009 2:01 PM PDT up reply actions
You guys are making me hungry
Its only 2:00 pm damnit, and I’m still at work, maybe I’ll go downstairs and get a smoothee from the cafe.
But crap, fajitas or Marketplace Smoothee, jeez there’s no comparison. Smoothee just won’t satisfy.
WHAMMY!
fuck you furcal
no effort running down the line…
plus you groundout on a 2-0 changeup after seeing 2 straight changeups
Lambo hits a double
Wow this guy’s ops has to be like 1.500, whatever, numbers don’t matter in the AFL apparently.
They matter but not so much
in the fall of 2005, Brandon Wood hit something like 20 home runs. Were still waiting for him to hit 20 major league home runs.
alright we knew that was coming
no need to panic yet
William Doolittle at your service, a.k.a. will do.
One on, that is.
Let alone two or three, I suppose.
well theres the solo shot we all knew was coming
keep your heads up guys
it was bound to happen though man
Phillies lineup is too damn powerful.
by desecrator09 on Oct 16, 2009 2:05 PM PDT up reply actions
We have the big boys coming up next inning
They need to get it going, we can’t wait until later in the game, it might be too late.
WHAMMY!
Runs, let us score them.
We all knew we were going to have to score at least 3-4 to win today. Let’s get to the juicy part of the bullpen sooner than later.
Why do the Phillies have to have such good offense
Why can’t they play more like the Giants, grrrrr
WHAMMY!
yeah
hanley ramirez is sure useless when hes sitting on his coach watchin the playoffs
