what was that warning all about??

by desecrator09 on Oct 16, 2009 12:47 PM PDT reply actions

pedro SUCKS

in the first few innings.. then he gets settled down.. we have to jump on him EARLY!! and OFTEN!!

hes made 9 starts this season and given up 3 leadoffs homeruns!!!!!!

i dont remeber a dodger pitcher this whole season giving up a leadoff homer and hes giving up 3 in 9 Starts!!!! WOW

by matthewmafa on Oct 16, 2009 12:47 PM PDT reply actions

Agreed

Think about Philly at home, even CO grabbed one game from them. No reason we shouldn’t be able to do the same at least once, if not more.

The Phills have to be scared of Pedro

C’mon, they can’t seriously be thinking he’s a lock! He’s a crapshoot. They are rolling the dice, and if it works they look like geniuses, and if it doesn’t, well they won last night so they will probably feel that is okay.

We gotta win today, WE HAVE TO!

yea

FUCK THE PHILLIES
i hate em

by matthewmafa on Oct 16, 2009 12:54 PM PDT up reply actions

I'm beginning to hate the Phils

more than the Pod People. Its hard to hate a team that sucks as bad as SD, where as the Phillies are decent, but so damn smug, especially Victorino, that dude has man boobs and needs another ball thrown at his head!

WHAMMY!

by Champ Kind on Oct 16, 2009 12:56 PM PDT up reply actions

i hate how victorino runs

i hate how big ryan howards nose is

i hate chase utleys hair

i hate how jason werth was let go when he was with the dodgers

i hate how rollins get so much credit for being such a good leadoff man and has a .296 OBP

i hate how ibanez is so damn annoying

and i hate how cole hamels looks gay

by matthewmafa on Oct 16, 2009 1:06 PM PDT up reply actions

exactly

they’re such an afterthought that i didn’t realize anybody actually focused any energy on them

by insomniacslounge on Oct 16, 2009 1:22 PM PDT up reply actions

LOL @ John Kruk

sayin Pedro still has a 95 MPH fastball

by desecrator09 on Oct 16, 2009 1:04 PM PDT reply actions

Kruk's a caveman

That one nut wonder needs to just come clean and admit he hates all baseball played in the mountain and pacific time zones, and he only just barely tolerates baseball played in centra. He believes the only baseball that counts is the ball played in the east. He’s a Philly man to the core, without an ounce of objectivity.

him along with the rest

of ESPN. Just look how nobody gave us any credit for beating the Cards.

by desecrator09 on Oct 16, 2009 1:06 PM PDT up reply actions

NOBODY

Gave us a credit, its like there was just this vast shocked silence amongst sports media, like “huh, what happened to the Cards.”

All they talked about was the Holliday error, like somehow that one error accounted for all three wins by the Dodgers.

Just disgusting.

Lookin at the Phills numbers

againt Padilla it makes you feel a little uneasy. Throw those numbers away now

by desecrator09 on Oct 16, 2009 1:09 PM PDT reply actions

Our old Vince

Is better than their old Pete

We can do this!

by insomniacslounge on Oct 16, 2009 1:12 PM PDT reply actions

Getting out of the first inning unscathed was my biggest worry for Padilla:

He seems to function better when we give him a lead.

Now, let us try and give him a lead.

by Talka1ot on Oct 16, 2009 1:12 PM PDT reply actions

yeaaa

expect a leadoff homerun

I’m half tempted to cancel my two clients this afternoon

by K3vo on Oct 16, 2009 1:14 PM PDT up reply actions

I’m in Tucson, I can’t really do that and expect people to understand unless it is the NCAA tournament and the UofA is playing.

by K3vo on Oct 16, 2009 1:18 PM PDT up reply actions

Do we worry about those pop outs

Had they got just a bit more bat, they might have gone somewhere. If Padilla slows, we might be in trouble.

WHAMMY!

by Champ Kind on Oct 16, 2009 1:14 PM PDT reply actions

I doubt that we'll win 1-0

We need to put some runs on the board and early.

A large thighed individual may disagree

Along with most of the bullpen, but in terms of pure stuff, he’s certainly ahead of wolf kuroda and garland.

by Jacob Burch on Oct 16, 2009 1:26 PM PDT up reply actions

if only he had a billingsley breaking ball

or a kuroda slider splitter combo..

or a garland change up

or a wolf curve

this guy is all fastball with below average secondary offerings

who is this series’ Holiday for you? I’m hoping for Victorino

by K3vo on Oct 16, 2009 1:30 PM PDT up reply actions

I’d also vote for Shane. And if he happens to rupture a testicle on a failed catch, that’s ok too

Can you imagine the “Cry’n Hawaiin” standing shell shocked after trying to ring a ball on his cock!

I’m more imagining the Phillies fans throwing shit at him for the rest of his career

by K3vo on Oct 16, 2009 1:33 PM PDT up reply actions

So I went over to the dark side

To see what Philly fans are saying on the Good Phight, not much to report, they are talking about Fringe and drinking games, and crap.

They are a bit surprised by Padilla

I'm merely observing

No comments from me, I don’t care about them that much, what is it the Good Book says about “not casting pearls before swine?”

That’s how I feel about Phillies fans

WHAMMY!

by Champ Kind on Oct 16, 2009 1:34 PM PDT up reply actions

This is why I said I would pay Padilla $12 million for a one year deal

…I don’t know what went wrong in Texas, but I have loved what I have seen from Padilla since he became a Dodger. 94-97 fastball, good breaking ball, good change-up, good command. Nice delivery. When we dream about Chris Withrow and Ethan Martin and what they might become, is THIS it?

by CanuckDodger on Oct 16, 2009 1:32 PM PDT reply actions

good changeup???

wtf?

i have never seen him throw a changeup

he only throws a cutter 4 and 2 seamers and a curve

lol Skip Bayless

They’re not baseball guys. More football, basketball guys.

by PHAT JULIO on Oct 16, 2009 1:36 PM PDT up reply actions

hell yes

I gave up ESPN (except for live college football) almost by accident. I just started going to NFL/NBA/MLB network if I wanted to watch highlights of those sports.

by K3vo on Oct 16, 2009 1:38 PM PDT up reply actions

Skp Bayless is the biggest tool ever

He is wrong all day long, never admits hit, and he hates, HATES, all LA teams. But he sticks his nose up in the air as though he is so right about everything. Ahhh, what a freakin’ moron, I’d love to watch someone just deck the dude square in the vagina!

Supposedly when Skip started the Aikman rumors

Troy called his agent and asked how much it would cost him if he knocked Bayless out. When he heard the number, he decided it wasn’t worth it.

If Colorado could win a game in Philly, then I think we could do that too.

a weakly hit dribbler and a soft line drive that was going to land in the infield..

if Lambo is OUTFUCKINGSTANDING in the AFL, would that replace what people see him of what he was during AA? Small sample size? He’s tearing shit up right now. I know I know… one game.
