I just got home

And find Ethier working a 2-strike count to a bases loaded walk. I have no idea what else happened, but a lead is wonderful!

If we go onto to win this game and series this inning will be remembered like the Mota flyball, the Davilio bunt and other in Dodger history.

Amazing.

Been at work the whole day, sneaking peaks at Gameday and TrueBlue. Felt unease as Pedro was dominating us. Yet, for some reason, i felt we had a shot once we go into the bullpen. All I can say is wow, what an 8th inning. Though it was a tough 7 innings from an offensive stadpoint, our ability to stick it out is how championships are made.

by JJ 24 on Oct 16, 2009 4:20 PM PDT reply actions

Cliff lee vs kuroda

I am VERY confident in Kuroda…

in his career vs philly he was went something like 20 innings and giving up 2 ER

And i think we will kill lee cause he is the same pitcher as cole hamels except with a lesser change and a 3rd pitch which is a great cutter

some people think its just so easy to take pitches

just because the pitcher walked a guy on 5 pitches. I thought Jason Giambi should’ve made Lidge throw more strikes in one of the NLDS games before popping up on a 1-strike count but then I realized that Giambi is one of the smartest hitters of all time and his only consistent asset at the plate is walking. Maybe it is not as easy as it looks.
