First time we've been beaten by 6 runs or more since we lost 11-1 against the Pirates on 9/28
The starting pitcher for the Dodgers? Hiroki Kuroda.

For Citizen's Bank Park being an absolute bandbox, it's kind of mind-blowing that the Phillies have two triples.

2009-10 LA Kings Hockey: Where Smyt Happens!!
by DodgerBlueBalls on Oct 18, 2009 7:38 PM PDT reply actions 0 recs
Caray has been more partial toward the dodgers than the Phillies/Cardinals throughout the whole postseason.
To act like he’s suddenly on their nuts is a joke.
Lee is pitching a fantastic game, and for the second game this series, the dodger pitching has not gotten it done. Then again, unlike game one, neither has the offense.

by SabreRoseTiger on Oct 18, 2009 7:42 PM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
I remember this group of TBS broadcasters from last year's ALCS
They get partial toward whichever team has the momentum. They were in love with the Red Sox after game 1, then the Rays won the next three games and all their talk was about what a great story the Rays were, etc. And then when it looked like the Red Sox were going to make ANOTHER comeback from being on the brink (which they have an annoying habit of doing), all their love went back to Boston.

therefore you are forced to see Hawk via Extra Innings?
BTW, I am a huge fan of Rod Allen.
by Michael White on Oct 18, 2009 7:45 PM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
I'm in Ohio, so luckily I do get FSD (and therefore Mario and Rod)
But I’ve seen enough footage of our games from Hawk’s perspective to know that he will never respect the Tigers (I’ve had MLB.tv for a couple years, and up until this year, if I missed a game that was in Chicago and I wanted to watch the replay, I’d get stuck with the home feed).
by SabreRoseTiger on Oct 18, 2009 7:48 PM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
I'd prefer they do that then act partial to any team for the duration of the series.

Dear Joe:
Can we possibly not have Belliard in the two whole ever again?
by prosellis on Oct 18, 2009 8:20 PM PDT reply actions 0 recs
Yeah that was the problem
Remember, he has one-third of our hits.
Hiroki Kuroda does not care about your head.

Its an open ended letter. I'm not done bitching yet.
It just happens to be bothering me right at this moment

Dodgers were never going to win this one anyway
Just have to go out and try to make it 2-2 tomorrow instead of the dangerous 1-3 like happened last year in Game 4.

Note to TBS: This is not the greatest postseason run a starting pitcher has had
by SabreRoseTiger on Oct 18, 2009 8:24 PM PDT reply actions 0 recs
Are you sure?
These TBS fellas are pretty smart about baseball.

William Doolittle at your service, a.k.a. will do.
by Ollie on Oct 18, 2009 8:26 PM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
It took some serious DVR work
to get it synched up the other night. But it was worth it. I should have done it again.

You have to admire that announcer
for still going nuts for the Phillies getting the last out when it was 11-0

I'm not sure it merited that much shouting from Chip Caray
But admittedly, I do find that amusing when our catchers do it.
by SabreRoseTiger on Oct 18, 2009 8:29 PM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
I like the sliding into the camera well a lot more.
That catch tonight was nothing remarkable.

Wolf, Kershaw, Padilla, Wolf for the rest of the series.
by Tripon on Oct 18, 2009 8:28 PM PDT reply actions 0 recs
I don't like Kershaw on the road
but we can’t do much better than that rotation
by prosellis on Oct 18, 2009 8:30 PM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
How long has it been since Wolf last pitched? Hope he isn’t too rusty for tomorrow nights game
by shoothoop on Oct 18, 2009 8:29 PM PDT reply actions 0 recs
I dislike Ryan Howard solely because of those annoying Subway commercials
by SabreRoseTiger on Oct 18, 2009 8:30 PM PDT reply actions 0 recs
I've been trying hard to hate him
that might do it.
