If you preach all year to not get too high or low, and you have a pretty calm clubhouse that is comfortable dealing with most things all season (and we do have a 95-67 record and are in the NLCS, by the way), what good would it do to go against that all of a sudden and fly off the handle?

1) teach the players how to deal with the situation like a professional
2) act like a spoiled child who doesn’t get his way.
