Dear Dodger hitters,
please score a lot of runs and win

Dear Randy Wolf
Please throw a lot of strikes, and throw some balls to the head of victorino and ruiz.
Thanks in advance

If I'm curt with this team, it's because time is a factor.
So please, pretty please, with sugar on top, score some fucking runs.
Dear Dodger pitchers,
Please don’t immediately barf up any leads you get the way the Angels’ pitchers have been doing against the Yankees.
Thank you.

How many runs will
Wolf give up in the first inning and when he settles down how many innings will he pitch?
2 Runs
6 1/3 IP
Dodgers win 7 – 2.
hopefully he doesnt suck in the first
but then again this is only a wish
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
And apologies for being a bit jerkish last game. I’ve had a crappy weekend being pissed at the universe because life isn’t fair and a friend is very very sick, and have been trying my best not to take it out on other people. It won’t happen again (I hope).

Game 2 of a 3 game series in Philly
how many times this year did the Dodgers lose the first game of a series and look bad, but then come back and win the next two? My (horrible, drunken) memory says it happened a few memorable times.
was it a botched play, or just a sneaky drag bunt for a single

hes right
all torre does is sit on the damn bench and say nothing.,
something needs to be said about this damn umpiring
What will Torre getting into an argument really accomplish? If you preach all year to not get too high or low, and you have a pretty calm clubhouse that is comfortable dealing with most things all season (and we do have a 95-67 record and are in the NLCS, by the way), what good would it do to go against that all of a sudden and fly off the handle?
The options are:
1) teach the players how to deal with the situation like a professional
2) act like a spoiled child who doesn’t get his way.

Yes, the pitches to Howard (and Werth) were strikes, and if Wolf has to hit that small of a strike zone going forward it will be a problem. But we all get it. No need to repeat the same thing over and over again.

Has there ever been a player better than Detlef Schrempf?
by bucknellbruin on Oct 19, 2009 5:58 PM PDT up reply actions
I wondered why Wolf served it up dead center
I guess that’s the only thing the ump will call a strike
pretty much since he wasnt calling anything a strike
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
im suprised the 3rd base ump didnt try to trip casey blake
to keep him from catching that
People it’s easy to blame the umpires but its even easier to blame Blanton
All MLB teams are equal but some MLB teams are more equal than others.
we've also hit about 4 balls hard at people
that’s probably gonna even out

what
it would be 0-0 and we would not be losing and in a hole
Strike Zone
So far I have been keeping track on gamecast, and nearly every pitch looks like a strike, and then is called a ball… What is going on? (apologies if you’ve already been screaming about this… I saw the Ryan Howard pitch trax post)
yay
another hard grounder right at someone
Has there ever been a player better than Detlef Schrempf?
fuck this
were never going to get a hit off blanton grrrr
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
You mean you think Blanton is going to pitch a NO HITTER?
Wow, a NO HITTER in the playoffs. That would be remarkable to see – even better if he completes the PERFECT GAME!

Matt kemp strike out here we come
All MLB teams are equal but some MLB teams are more equal than others.
what has happened to kemp?

by Eric Stephen on Oct 19, 2009 6:02 PM PDT up reply actions

Has there ever been a player better than Detlef Schrempf?

Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
it just doesnt feel right anymore, the amount of breaks and close calls is so one sided in their favor
I almost just wanna curl up and call it destiny, just stick the fucking stake in our hearts now
William Doolittle at your service, a.k.a. will do.
Don't give up yet.

Just think how much more satisfying it will feel to win after overcoming so much adversity.

Perhaps this explains everything
http://espn.go.com/blog/sweetspot/post/_/id/869/blame-umpiring-on-injuries
All MLB teams are equal but some MLB teams are more equal than others.
of course that would bounce back
wtf…should be 2-1
Has there ever been a player better than Detlef Schrempf?
I think it is Randy Marsh's life goal to alienate every team's fans by the time he retires
He’s already been able to cross the Tigers and Dodgers off his list. Who’s next?
by SabreRoseTiger on Oct 19, 2009 6:11 PM PDT up reply actions
is this really marsh?
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
The same umpires do the whole series. They rotate positions (there are 6).

For all your information, I walked in the door from work, turned on the T.V
and watched Loney RBI it up!
I totally walked out my door and back inside. my roommate looked at me like I needed to be committed

It frustrates me that the Dodgers load the base and they get a run and then the phillies come up and hit a homer and tie it.

I still do not get why we have not tried belliard at third
not like we need the defense when the Phillies hit everything into the air or the stands.
