Thank you, True Blue LA

After the Dodgers lost yesterday, everyone in the True Blue LA community was somber yet content of how the Dodgers shaped up their 2009 season.  Some gave thanks, others shared their most favorite moment of the year.   As members shared their most favorite Dodger moment, I was away from True Blue LA hanging out with my girl friend being somber as everyone else was.

Fuck, alright, whatever.  It was a good year nonetheless, we'll come back next year...

When the dust cleared and I decided to log into True Blue LA to read all the love the fans shared with everyone else, I was going to share my favorite moment of the year which was the period where Clayton Kershaw matured into an "ace" in the middle of June through July and pretty much was impossible to stop, as he will be in the future.  I wrote it with the user name "PHAT JULIO" and waited to write my formal favorite moment with my new user name.  Which is the one I am using now.

I was introduced to True Blue LA in July by reading an email my sister sent me with a list of different Dodger blogs.  I checked each of them out with True Blue LA being my favorite.  Once I joined, I quickly took advantage of the feature to post fan posts and expressed my insight on the Dodgers.  But of course my favorite were the game threads.  I think it is amazing to talk to Dodger fans, sports fans alike.  I was immediately hooked onto the site, so much so that it's the first site I log into when I use my browser. It's the number one source I use to read Dodger news.

Phil's minor league reports, Eric's great insight, member's fan posts, all the funny/witty comments, gee just about everything...  True Blue LA is truly the best blog I have ever visited.  So I'm writing this to share to everyone my favorite moment of the year, which is joining True Blue LA and sharing all the great moments I've experienced with all the members of this site.  I chose my whole name as my new user name because I feel everyone here is a great person to know and I would like to introduce myself as me.  Julio Nievas of Whittier.

Thank you True Blue LA, thank you SB Nation, most of all, thank you Phil and Eric

Xeifrank’s simulator said that PHAT JULIO being Julio Nieves of Whittier was the 16th most likely outcome. The plan is for the prognostication to improve when he upgrades to Windows 7 next season.

Just kidding, Xei ;-)

Happy to have shared this season with you, Julio!

Great post Julio

I also joined in July, when my son was away at a travelball tourney I could not attend in Ohio. I share every sentiment about TBLA that you posted, I am here early each morning to read anything posted after I logged out the night before, my work production has dropped off some because I check the site all day long at my desk. I also want to thank Phil, Brendan and Eric for a great Dodger blog and I will be here through the fall league hot stove and into spring training for the great 2010 season to come.

I’l join the True Blue love fest. Where else can Dodger fans post their tirades and raving rants and have such a great audience?

True Blue Rules!

As a relative newbie, I’ve got to join in the general love fest. What I like about the site is even if you are new (and perhaps wrong-headed), you get responses. You don’t get ignored. Thus, a true community. And the writing ain’t bad either. Or should I say Ethier. (a little joke. very little)

I was wondering if you had changed

your name to Julio Nieves when I saw that. Even so, I still am still going to call you Phat Julio because that is great handle.
