Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Andre Ethier has scored an endorsement contract, with a lip balm called Burner Balm, something touted as "an innovative lip balm developed by doctors and biochemists." Good for Andre, getting some endorsement coin after his fine season.

Hey, if the lip balm is good enough for Hota Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford, it's good enough for you!

I’m not certain I want to put something called “Burner” on my lips.

Except for maybe

Mary “The Burner” Turner, at least as how I remember her from the glory days of KMET radio. I understand that she married the founder of Westwood One, earned a PhD in Psychology, and she and hubby sit courtside at Lakers games. She’s got to be in her upper 50s now. Found one old pic:

Cynthia Fox

sounds so hot on the air. She has that rough and gravelly type voice.

She's on KLOS now, apparently.

Those pictures above are c. late 70s, I’m guessing. I imagine Cynthia is in her mid-50s now also. Heck, I’ll be 49 soon and I was an older teenager in the late 70s! Here’s a pic I found on the internet of Cynthia Fox “a couple years ago”

She also threw out a first pitch this year at Dodger Stadium, bringing this discussion back to on-topic for this blog! Video here.
