Weaver To Make NLDS Roster

Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reported that Jeff Weaver will make the division series roster for the Dodgers. The rosters don't have to be submitted until tomorrow, but it appears my postseason roster prediction will 96% correct (I had James McDonald over Weaver), per Gurnick's informed speculation.

It will be interesting to see Weaver pitch with the basesloaded

when he hasn’t loaded them himself.

I wouldn't pitch him without a lead or a lost cause.

Or in a situation where you need one out and the pitcher’s spot is up next, unless everyone else was unavailable.

It'll be Kuo, Sherrill, Broxton, Troncoso, Belisario, Garland, and Weaver.

Garland can be used for lost causes.

or a situation where the bases were loaded, and the starter went out early, and

we still had an inning or so before we got to Shrek, Kuo, Sherill, Brox :)

Hard to get too worked up about this

Because I hope it doesn’t matter anyway.

I think McDonald is more valuable than either Weaver or Garland since he throws 97mph, but it’s really not that big of a deal.
