Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
I’m actually surprised I’m still awake. 1:12 am here.
Hopefully I don’t have to do anything tricky tomorrow at work. :)

At least you guys will be home tomorrow to watch the game
Most of us will still be at work

That’s gonna suck…I’ll be watching my iPhone though while listening to audio on the computer at my desk.

I’ve got to go “pick up my kid” at school tomorrow and will be “working from home” in the afternoon

My GF's dad bought tickets for me and my gf for tomorrow's game
:D
I was just hoping to go to a sports bar and watch, so I’m way excited to see Kershaw kick ass live.
The elevators are even slower in the playoffs!!!

Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
insurance is too much to afford in this tough economy haha
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
E-surance runs folks
sponsored by Bank of America
Look at that, he hit the f*cking bull! Guy gets a free steak!
I hate how they said....
Carp didnt have his best stuff tonight and act like it was all on him. Dont even give us any credit at all.
beating the traffic home
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....

2 straight walks
Thank you sir, may I have another?
we have to let him bat
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
Well
We could let him bat or use Tron in the 9th. I want to see if Broxton can drive one.
by StolenMonkey86 on Oct 7, 2009 10:19 PM PDT up reply actions
brox needs to work the walk if possible
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
Please don't dive, Russ.
We don’t need you to break your fingers on something like that.
That was an acceptable situation to slide into 1B…he could’ve been tagged too.
by Eric Stephen on Oct 7, 2009 10:21 PM PDT up reply actions
i smell a brox slam
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
He really isn’t fat. He has some pudge, but not much.
by Eric Stephen on Oct 7, 2009 10:22 PM PDT up reply actions
work the walk brox
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
And if he got a hit
He wouldn’t get the save
by StolenMonkey86 on Oct 7, 2009 10:22 PM PDT up reply actions
The save situation is locked in, even if the Dodgers scored 100, as long as Broxton finishes the game
by Eric Stephen on Oct 7, 2009 10:23 PM PDT up reply actions
Tho maybe that's why Manny hit the weak GIDP
to preserve the save situation for broxton
team player
by insomniacslounge on Oct 7, 2009 10:24 PM PDT up reply actions
He would because he was in the game before the score changed
Somone got a save in the 30-3 Rangers win over the Orioles.
i believe that was a 3 inning save tho
by insomniacslounge on Oct 7, 2009 10:24 PM PDT up reply actions
Yeah it was
But everything was right for him to get that save (pitched the last 3 innings when they had a lead of 3 or less runs).
Lead doesn’t matter, by rule, for a 3-inning save
by Eric Stephen on Oct 7, 2009 10:27 PM PDT up reply actions
yeah he would
He entered the game in a save situation
by insomniacslounge on Oct 7, 2009 10:23 PM PDT up reply actions
Broxton looks like Billy Ashley at the plate
except Ashley would swing when he struck out
by insomniacslounge on Oct 7, 2009 10:22 PM PDT reply actions
If broxton makes this a no stress inning
i will love him
by SeanMillerSavior on Oct 7, 2009 10:24 PM PDT up reply actions

Damn - Mary Hart left
wife thinks she’s good luck
Come on brox. Retire in order.
Do it for my REM sleep

defensive indifference
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
The best part is I forgot what it was, so I will get to experience the joy again :)

More announcing gold
“Usually when the ball’s put in play against him it’s a pop up or a swing and a miss.”
well, i guess the catcher’s technically in play?
by KellyStephen on Oct 7, 2009 10:29 PM PDT up reply actions
goddammit
this fucking game needs to end
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
me too…looked like the ball really dropped
by KellyStephen on Oct 7, 2009 10:30 PM PDT up reply actions
No doubles defense late in the game.
A bit ironic, of course.
rewind. he got a great jump. as soon as the ball is hit he is moving.
by KellyStephen on Oct 7, 2009 10:32 PM PDT up reply actions
yeah, Kemp was just jogging out there.
WTF are you talking about?
by KellyStephen on Oct 7, 2009 10:31 PM PDT up reply actions
Has nothing to do with being lazy
watch the game more closely before commenting, thanks.

thank u ESPN for reverse jinxing us
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
Don’t know how we won this thing given that LaRussa was going to come in with a decided strategic advantage
Wait till next saturday
when the Trojans face a decided schematic advantage
really, Notre Dame smack? what rock do you live under?

Let’s relax…last I heard this is 3 of 5
by KellyStephen on Oct 7, 2009 10:37 PM PDT up reply actions
I also heard this was 2009, and we were playing the Cardinals :)
by Eric Stephen on Oct 7, 2009 10:37 PM PDT up reply actions
I was kind of worried about the series but then I looked in the 1st base dugout in Dodger Stadium and saw Tony LaRussa there, and I figured we’d be okay

see comment above

just to clarify
1 down 2 to go
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
isnt that the injury expert
why is she predicting series matchups?
Stefania Bell (I think I’m spelling it right) is the injury woman

is what the simulator says are our chances for winning tomorrow’s game. Vegas doesn’t have the balls to put their line out yet.

Did you know the WNBA finals are going on?
How are any of those teams profitable?
Look at that, he hit the f*cking bull! Guy gets a free steak!
They aren't
David Stern is footing the bill w/ NBA money.
by insomniacslounge on Oct 7, 2009 10:44 PM PDT up reply actions
i think we can beat wainwrong
use the same strategy
take more pitches and get to that bullpen early
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
Except Carpenter was off, it wasn't like the Dodger's gameplan beat him
If the starter is struggling with command you always take more pitches
yeah but making the pitcher work certainly doesnt hurt either way
even if hes dealing…
Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....
normally that strategy won't work v. Carp
he usually pounds the strike zone. tonight he was terrilbe. As was Wolf
Other good news from tonight
If Kershaw comes up tomorrow, I hope this proved to Joe that he should be our game 5 or next game 1 starter.
Kershaw would still be able to pitch a potential game 5 on normal rest
Has there ever been a player better than Detlef Schrempf?
by bucknellbruin on Oct 7, 2009 10:54 PM PDT up reply actions
don't turn on espn
it is proven to lower your IQ. I would rather listen to billy madison give a speech about “society” than any of those connecticut dickbags. they still have berman doing the back back back and nickname schtick for god’s sake. just say no. re wolf — I bet it is hard to find many 3.2 IP 11 baserunner 2 ER linescores… yeah weaver….
