ugh

but with this ump probably 1 ball

Because when I think of Boris Diaw, I think of Beethoven and the age of Romanticism....

by shaqfor3 on Oct 8, 2009 5:46 PM PDT up reply actions

Way too anxious

His release point was way off, you had to make him come to you. Really poor at bat.

by oshea2002 on Oct 8, 2009 5:46 PM PDT up reply actions

Kemp really needed to show some patience there

Since his 1st AB last night he’s looked pretty bad up there

by Bluetrek on Oct 8, 2009 5:46 PM PDT reply actions

I'll agree with you that absent the HR

Kemp has had a rough two days. But that’s a ridiculous statement after the season he’s had.

by oshea2002 on Oct 8, 2009 5:48 PM PDT up reply actions

Despite the fact he hit a HR in the playoffs against an ace, he’s not ready for the big boy pitchers?

by Eric Stephen on Oct 8, 2009 5:50 PM PDT up reply actions

i said that was an exception

hes struggled with his plate disciplin since then although there have been some questionable calls by the umps

The guy just beaned and walked guys. Make him throw f-ing meat

OH...MOI...GAWD

I’ve been in class all afternoon, scrambling to watch the game whenever possible. I had gameday on in the bottom of the 9th. I had to pump my fist when the professor wasn’t looking when Belli tied it up. I heard a few people giggling, but I don’t care! Somehow, I managed to not start screaming when Loretta won it!

I don’t know what Matt Holliday did, but I’d like to thank Billy Beane for TWO trades now. ESPN, CBS, NBC and everyone else will NOT disrespect the Dodgers again, and I will never, ever, EVER disrespect Mark Loretta or Ronnie Belliard ever again!!!!!!!!!

More awesomeness from MLB Network

“The Dodgers beat the two Cy Young aces of the Cardinals!” “:snickers: They didn’t beat Wainwright, they beat the bullpen.”

Okay? Did the Cardinals win? How about Kershaw keeping the team in the game?

by Nathan S. on Oct 8, 2009 6:34 PM PDT reply actions

You don’t think things may have been a bit difference had Wainright stayed in? Don’t beat someone up for making accurate analysis

by KellyStephen on Oct 8, 2009 6:36 PM PDT up reply actions

But they haven’t even mentioned Kershaw and what he did to keep us in the game

Yay, they’re talking about Kershaw!!!

by Bluetrek on Oct 8, 2009 6:41 PM PDT up reply actions

Um…the comment was correct. And he made a god point….Dodgers were happy to see the bullpen after Wainright owned them all night

by KellyStephen on Oct 8, 2009 6:35 PM PDT up reply actions

And if 1 run in 8 innings isn’t owning a team, please correct me

by KellyStephen on Oct 8, 2009 6:37 PM PDT up reply actions

The comment was correct

But Kershaw kept us very much alive in this game albeit being in an inning too long. Wainwright owned us, but our pitchers did their job too to put us in the position to win that game.

by Nathan S. on Oct 8, 2009 6:38 PM PDT up reply actions

I apologize. It’s hard to want to get into a respect debate after a win like that. You either accept it, don’t accept it, it’s still a 2-0 lead in a series we were supposed to be 0-3 in, so I’ll take it.
