White Sox Acquire Pierre

Tim Brown of Yahoo Sports has twittered that the Dodgers have traded Juan Pierre to the White Sox for a couple of minor leaguers. There is no notation of who the two minor leaguers might be though. It does state tht they are pitchers though. Hopefully they will be AAA or AA prospects who can contribute something to the Dodgers sooner than never. I guess Jason Repko can come down from that ledge now.

As long as at least of these cost cutting moves
has some benefit. At some point there needs to be a means to an end. It’s almost as if the Dodgers are content on living in a mediocre division. Doing well enough to compete and make it into the playoffs, then hoping for the best. Maybe it will work from a business standpoint, but it’s very frustrating to watch the Dodgers concede the NL to the Phillies once again.
