All of their names have one "i" in them.
Don’t lie and say its not true.

True, but not the answer I was looking for. :)

I could make a real guess
But I have absolutely no idea, I’ve never even heard of any of them. :-)

Dennis Lewallyn never pitched in a WS
Clem Labine is the only one of the four to pitch in a World Series as a Dodger (1953, 55, 56, and 59), and he also pitched for Pittsburgh in the 1960 Fall Classic.
Joe Beckwith pitched in the 1985 World Series for KC, but only got as far as the 1983 NLCS in his Dodger days.
Ricky Horton, who pitched for the Cards in the WS in 1985 & 1987, pitched for the Dodgers in the 1988 NLCS but never appeared in the World Series.

I wasn’t sure about Lewallyn, but I knew the other guys did, but not necessarily as dodgers.

All players that I have no idea who they are
Is that the answer?

I fear that Eric
was trained to well by the Griddle. His trivia is the opposite of the Dodger Stadium trivia in that of 50,000 fans about 50,000 fans know the answer to the trivia question.

My feelings were crushed
by the lightning quick reflexes of Jacob, who answered the first trivia question in about 4 milliseconds.
I will never match the picture puzzles of Bob anyway! :)

I am shocked that Dodger fans have never heard of Clem Labine.
Next we will find out you don’t know who Babe Herman was.

Dennis Lewallyn
I actually never heard of him until about 6 months ago.

re:
Even I’m not old enough to have seen Clem Labine pitch but all the others are recorded away in the cobwebs of my brain. Can’t remember what my wife told me yesterday but throw out a Dodger name from the last 40 years and I’ll have a memory of him. The memory could easily be wrong.
Horton – lefty, not very good, didn’t last long
Beckwith – decent prospect, was a good setup man, pitch had a lot of movement if not alot of velocity. Corey Wade?
Lewallyn – played for the Dukes, didn’t ever do much for the Dodgers.

The answer
The four pitchers above are the only LA Dodger relievers to ever allow 10 or more hits a game.
Beckwith had the worst performance of the four, allowing 11 hits and 5 runs in only 3.2 innings at the Astrodome in September 1979.

Thats impressive....
Lets not add any relievers to that list this year.
