Only three nights?

That seems light. Casey Blake? That will bring the crowd out, who is running marketing these days? I wonder how thin they can make the giveaway blankets this year?

Kuo

Didn’t Kuo already have a bobblehead night?

Or was this simply made?

re:

Do we have a database of who on the roster already has had a bobblehead night or do we need to search ebay for each player on the roster?

If Bills gets the home opener

Will there be idiots that boo him because of the NLCS? I DREAD that.

re:

No, not in the beginning, but if he only lasts as long as did against the Phillies he will hear some big boo birds as walks to the dugout.

August 19 vs. Cardinals: Kemp

Should have about 32 HR and 37 SB by then…

by Big Blue on Mar 11, 2009 10:43 PM PDT up reply actions

Awesome

August 19 is game #121 on the 2009 schedule for the Dodgers. Here are some recent HR/SB people with their numbers through 121 team games:

Soriano 2006: 38 HR / 29 SB (ended 46/41)
Beltran 2004: 29/29 (ended 38/42)
Soriano 2002: 30/34 (ended 39/41)
Vlad 2002: 32/24 (ended 39/40)
A-Rod 1998: 36/36 (ended 42/46)
Bonds 1996: 34/23 (ended 42/40)
HoJo 1989: 29/32 (ended 36/41)
Canseco 1988: 32/31 (ended 42/40)
Bo. Bonds 1977: 30/27 (ended 37/41)
Bo. Bonds 1973 : 33/33 (ended 39/43)

Then my favorite:
Eric Davis 1987: 33/45 (ended 37/50)

It seems like they could have given out costumes

Manny Dreads, a Blake Beard, and another item TBA. Perhaps Jason Repko eyebrows.
