Dodgers to Face Andruw's Last Hurrah?
Rangers (14-9) @ Dodgers (12-11), 1:05pm
The Rangers travel to Camelback Ranch to face the Dodgers, in what could be Andruw Jones' final game as a Ranger. The Rangers have until Monday to place Jones on the 40-man roster or release him, unless the two sides again agree to extend such a deadline.
Randy Wolf will start for the Dodgers, per Ken Gurnick of MLB.com, and will be followed on the mound by Guillermo Mota and Cory Wade.
Perhaps more important than Sunday's starter is that Thursday's starter will be James McDonald, who impressed Joe Torre, et al with a strong performance against the Indians Saturday. Per Dylan Hernandez of the LA Times:
"I felt like I was more relaxed," McDonald said. "I think I put too much pressure on myself at points."
Luis Mendoza will start for the Rangers and, according to T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com, "the Rangers want to stretch out some of their middle relievers, so Warner Madrigal, Josh Rupe and possibly Frank Francisco will pitch two innings."
The game will be televised by KCAL.

The future of Dodger Pitching
I like McDonald (although the Big Mac is a soggy, pasty mess), but, to me, I have seen the future of Dodger Pitching and it is Josh Lindblom. I know he’s young and untested (35 pro innings), but he has a beautiful motion, can throw hard and has a nice curveball. I saw the game against Kansas City on MLB TV Network, and they were taking the KC tv feed—-and even their announcers were impressed with Lindblom. I’m glad that it looks like McD and Lindblom are going to fight it out for the 5th spot. All the rest of those has beens are, well, has beens. So, let the two guys fight it out and let the best young arm win. Personally, I think Lindblom might be better as a starter than McD, because McD looks frail and Josh is a big feller. Also from the Big Ten, always a plus for me—-I’m an Iowa grad. On With the show!
