Mientkiewicz Dislocates Shoulder; MRI Friday

Doug Mientkiewicz dislocated his shoulder sliding into second base in the sixth inning, after his pinch double. An MRI is scheduled for Friday, but it's safe to assume he's headed for the disabled list. Reader SIlverwidow pointed out the recovery time for a dislocated shoulder can be as much as 4-12 weeks. Yikes.
