Belated Tuesday Dodger Trivia
Since I was late with this question, you get two questions:
1) Who was the first Los Angeles Dodger position player to pitch in a game?
2) Which two players both hold the Dodger record for home runs in a single minor league season?
Answers to come Wednesday afternoon.

Not so easy.
It’s not all that easy to look it up in the stats; it takes a few contortions. I haven’t figured out how to look up the other one. Also, I wasn’t around here at the time, so there’s no other way for me, but I’ll be very impressed if anyone actually was here and remembers, or can contradict it from facts unknown to the stats.

I remember Jiim Hickman sucking for us after we traded for him then at the inexplicable age of 32 he puts up that 1970 season with a 155 OPS+.
Reminds me of Bob Baily who we traded for to be our 3rd baseman of the future and he gave us back to back .227 seasons and then also had an incredible 1970 season for another team.

Yep
I got both of these questions from the Dodger media guide, which has a ton of cool little factoids mixed in throughout the book.

If you ever wondered where Ross Porter got all his little Dodger stats from, that is probably the best place to look.
