Dodgers, Brewers Battle in the Dark

MLB Florida and Arizona Spring Training - SB Nation

Brewers (21-10-3) @ Dodgers (16-19), 7:10pm

The Brewers bring their hitting shoes to Dodger Stadium tonight, for the start of a brief two-game series. Tonight's game is the last non-televised game for quite some time -- I'm not counting Sunday in San Francisco since that will be on MLB TV.

Since the Brewers are tonight's opponent, I have an excuse to run this video from earlier in the week.  A great catch by the Brewer fan, under unique circumstances:

Chad Billingsley returns to game action for the first time in 11 days, in his final tuneup for his start in San Diego on Wednesday.

The game will be broadcast on KABC, and MLB Audio.

There's still time to get your Final Four votes in for the 2009 Dodger Prediction Bracket contest.  Voting for this round runs through Saturday night.

Awesome Video

but why wasn’t the guy hitting on the girl after the catch? Perfect opportunity considering he almost put his knee through the back of her head

Patience is for those who die waiting for something to happen

Yeah

He threw away a golden opportunity. :)

She had no clue that was coming...

After further review, that probably would have hit her right on her shoulder….

Maybe Corey wanted to meet her and that guy salted his game…. that would have been impressive.

Watching "Dodgers Insider"

on Prime Ticket, the one on Manny Ramirez. It’s pretty cool, but the narrator (Patrick O"Neal?) erred (he probably didn’t write the copy though) when he said:

Numbers like these made him the most sought-after free agent of the 2000 offseason.

25-year old A-Rod was also a free agent that year, and was probably the most sought after free agent in baseball history.

Based on PE's latest blog post

McDonald may end up in the pen. The misdirection that this organization is providing is simply baffling.

My own GUESS: Jeff Weaver will start on April 10th.

Nevermind

Weaver only pitched an inning; no way he’ll be ready to start in one week.

Torre just needs to cut the BS and name McDonald the starter.
