God pray for their souls.
I might be joking a bit, but I doubt anyone remember the Jim Tracy years that fondly. He was a man who thought Jason Philips, a backup catcher was good enough to start at first base. Kept on sniping at his GM. Somehow had the local beat guys like Plaschke, and Simers around his fingers, decided that Oscar Robles was the best hitter on his team, and batted him 3rd whenever he could. And decided that Hee Seop Choi hit 6 home runs in 3 games that Choi wasn't good enough to start for Tracy and the Dodgers. And his stint in with the Pirates bizarrely had him try to recreate the 2008 Pirates into a clone of the 2004 Dodgers.
And this says it all how Tracy will manage. Good luck Rockies fans, you're going to need it.
Sabermetric baseball analysts claimed that Choi did not get enough playing time because of bias from the Dodgers' old school managerial style, which kept rookies on the bench for extended periods of time. Jim Tracy reportedly said that he did not start Choi on one particular day because Adam Eaton was pitching, and Eaton has a unique arm angle in his pitching delivery.
