But the important thing is

will he pitch inside?

He’s not a true ace until he shows me his mettle. ;-)

No, actually it’s cool to finally hear broadcasters and journalists from outside Dodgerland finally calling him “ace” and so on.

It really is great. I’m happy for Chad and the Dodgers.

Just think how great it will be when Clayton ascends to that level. But I’m patient; I can wait until tomorrow for Kershaw turns that corner. :)

I still the general media is ignorant

The first time the word “ace” was used (to my knowledge) is when he started the season 4-0.

Very much a “what have you done for me lately” lot with selective memory.

Dave Stewart on Jim Rome Show

lots of praise for Billingsley…

=“he’s won at every level…”
-“I’ve been saying he’s going to be great for years”
-could win Cy Young as early as this year
-people want to talk about his struggles last year against Philadelphia, but he still won 16 games and got the Dodgers to where they were

Nice :)

The cool part to me was that Rome actually brought up the topic of Billingsley as a Cy Young candidate.

Did Tony Jackson think he was going to get paid to blog?

I never quite understood what was going on with that.

Patience is for those who die waiting for something to happen

Seemed like

He was gonna be the beat writer for that site. Talk of him rejoining the team and such.
