Estes can't simply opt out?
I know Milton could have, I assumed Estes could at some point, like after June 1.

Apparently he can't
And I guess the Dodgers feel they need him as depth so they won’t let him go.

Dodgers getting ready to move some moves?
While the retirement of Estes is up in the air, Diamond Leung has reported that Valentino Pascucci has been released.
And for those who care, the Dodgers have also released Valentino Pascucci.

James McDonald was called up
Schilichting was sent down and McDonald called up to be the long reliever. So I am not sure where Estes would fit on the staff unless Milton isn’t activated next week.
