Beltre is playing with an injury?

Glad all those Beltre-to-LA rumors in the offseason were just that.

Milton is so underwhelming, I’m getting flashbacks of Scott Erickson.

by Rolex on Jun 27, 2009 7:36 PM PDT reply actions

Wow way to go Milton

by shoothoop on Jun 27, 2009 7:41 PM PDT reply actions

Reporting from dodger stadium, weather is incredible tonight

by Alex Serena on Jun 27, 2009 7:43 PM PDT reply actions

Milton looks OK

I’m not sure why but he really does. We shall see!

by Gen3blu on Jun 27, 2009 7:45 PM PDT reply actions

Branyan scares me, if he gets into one he’ll send it into orbit.

by Rolex on Jun 27, 2009 7:55 PM PDT reply actions

Milton is in a bad spot

This is a pitching mismatch of epic proportions

by oshea2002 on Jun 27, 2009 7:59 PM PDT reply actions

Why Milton.

I’m kind of ashamed of what I said here so I dropped it.

by Gen3blu on Jun 27, 2009 8:01 PM PDT reply actions

with the way Felix has been thrownig

we were likely to lose anyways, so might as well waste our 5 spot on him

by oshea2002 on Jun 27, 2009 8:03 PM PDT up reply actions

Milton should be DFA’d, he’s ineffective.

by Rolex on Jun 27, 2009 8:02 PM PDT reply actions

At least we’ll see Jmac

by Rolex on Jun 27, 2009 8:04 PM PDT reply actions

Hubris

We are in a comfortable position. But I still don’t think you can start a Milton tonight. I know he has some friends among the coaches who would like to increase his pension, but you still have to give a bit of thought to the Dodgers position, even this early.

by Gen3blu on Jun 27, 2009 8:06 PM PDT reply actions

i don't think we're quite Achilles yet

however I’m not opposed to the idea of dragging the Giants’ corpse behind my chariot.

Look at that, he hit the f*cking bull! Guy gets a free steak!

by Josie Becker on Jun 27, 2009 8:15 PM PDT up reply actions

Furcal seems to have his speed back.

He beats out the throw for an infield single, and was able to get to 3rd on the single.

And wow, Ichiro.

by Tripon on Jun 27, 2009 8:18 PM PDT reply actions

Good News...

King Felix: 61 pitches through 3 innings.

by Nofatmike on Jun 27, 2009 8:24 PM PDT reply actions

That’s pretty typical for King Felix isn’t it? He seems to throw a ton of pitches

by Rolex on Jun 27, 2009 8:26 PM PDT up reply actions

manny hit a home run today in class A

by matthewmafa on Jun 27, 2009 8:25 PM PDT reply actions

How does Milton have 6 strikeouts…

by Bluetrek on Jun 27, 2009 8:27 PM PDT reply actions

Damn statistics Lie

by Rolex on Jun 27, 2009 8:28 PM PDT up reply actions

His stuff is very hit (as in doubles/triples/HR) or miss, not much inbetween.

by shoothoop on Jun 27, 2009 8:30 PM PDT up reply actions

Damn, the Mariners have one of the better CFs.

Gutierrez actually rates better than Kemp according to UZR

by Tripon on Jun 27, 2009 8:31 PM PDT reply actions

J-Mac is warming up

by Bluetrek on Jun 27, 2009 8:31 PM PDT reply actions

Only a 9 pitch inning for Hernandez

by Bluetrek on Jun 27, 2009 8:33 PM PDT reply actions

Probabilities/statistics

Basically I think most people with a mathematical bent thought that with the Dodgers starting Miltown, they would lose by 2.6 runs tonight—if they do better, some of us will be proud.

by Gen3blu on Jun 27, 2009 8:34 PM PDT reply actions

Well...

That sure didn’t help.

by Nofatmike on Jun 27, 2009 8:34 PM PDT reply actions

The Motaboat is Torre’s new whipping boy

by Rolex on Jun 27, 2009 8:38 PM PDT reply actions

At least Milton was around the plate tonight

by Bluetrek on Jun 27, 2009 8:41 PM PDT reply actions

Quit swinging at the first pitch!!

by Bluetrek on Jun 27, 2009 8:43 PM PDT reply actions

Mcdonald not getting the benefit of the doubt

by shoothoop on Jun 27, 2009 8:53 PM PDT reply actions

God bless America

Was it a mariner whomade that awful

by Gen3blu on Jun 27, 2009 9:25 PM PDT reply actions

That strike 1 call to Furcal

was not even close to a strike. Makes an impossible task even more impossible when that’s the case.

by underdog on Jun 27, 2009 9:40 PM PDT reply actions

The ump has been pretty bad tonight for both teams.

by shoothoop on Jun 27, 2009 9:43 PM PDT up reply actions

So I guess we're not chasing out king Felix

Look at that, he hit the f*cking bull! Guy gets a free steak!

by Josie Becker on Jun 27, 2009 9:41 PM PDT reply actions

Ah well

back to watching The Incredibles.

In both that and the game I basically know how it ends but the movie’s more fun.

by underdog on Jun 27, 2009 9:41 PM PDT reply actions

Matt Kemp is just fun to watch

by Bluetrek on Jun 27, 2009 9:49 PM PDT reply actions

good thing I didn't bother with hope

Look at that, he hit the f*cking bull! Guy gets a free steak!

by Josie Becker on Jun 27, 2009 10:01 PM PDT reply actions

Kemp is on another strikeout bender
