Dodgers Draft Review and 2009 Outlook
Mark Hulet of Fangraphs wrote an interesting review of the Dodgers 2006-2008 draft and looked at their organizational needs and strengths for the 2009 draft. Mark agrees with the popular opinion that the 2008 draft should help restock the system although he does make the mistake of calling Josh Lindblom's start to the season slow. I posted my thoughts in the comments there.

Good response
I’m very excited about this year’s draft. Looking back on 2008, it appears Logan White was right. That group of players has the potential to be a special group. Martin, Lindblom, Dee Gordon, Russell. Nice. I like White’s cockiness about losing the [well-worth it] Hudson pick. He has a chip on his shoulder going into Tuesday, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he landed a few first-round talents with the lure of the Dodgers’ sparkling organization.
Thanks
I agree completely. I think there’s still a chance to get some very good players, despite not having a first round pick. We do still have a supplemental pick and two second rounders, and as you said at Fangraphs, there could be some signability picks at those spots.
