She Is Gone - June 7th

Welcome to our June contest: "She Is Gone."

The contest is about home runs hit by the Dodgers.  For each game, you have to guess three things:

1) Name of Dodger to Hit Home Run

2) Inning of Home Run

3) Distance of Home Run, in feet

The most important thing is to guess the correct hitter, who hits the first Dodger home run of the game.  If the Dodgers hit multiple homers in a game, and nobody guessed the first player to homer, we will move on to the second player to homer, and so on.

The inning and distance will be used, in that order, as tiebreakers in case multiple people guess the same player.

There can be multiple guesses of the same player, but once someone claims the inning and distance for their guess, nobody else can guess both that same inning and distance for that player.

Only guesses in this thread will count, and they must be received before the first pitch of the game.

The person who has the most wins at the end of June will win their choice of Bluetopia on DVD, a 2009 Dodger Media Guide, a copy of "100 Things Dodgers Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die" by Jon Weisman, or a 2009 Topps Dodgers' team baseball card set!

**********

Date Winner HR Details
June 1 n/a n/a
June 2 matthewmafa Ethier, 2nd inning, 418 feet
June 3 n/a n/a
June 4 n/a n/a
June 5 n/a n/a
June 6 jaffa Etiher, 4th inning, 433 feet

I don't know what the distance was for Ethier's home run, but I'm pretty sure jaffa won yesterday. We'll wait for confirmation from Eric.

UPDATE:  Thanks to Hit Tracker Online, we see Either's HR was 433 feet.  Both jaffa and Xeifrank guessed Andre in the 4th inning, but jaffa's guess was closer in distance.
