Around SBN: Jeremy Lin And How The Pac-12 Missed Him

Those who saw this game will remember "The Catch" forever. I've never seen a game ended on a more beautiful play in my life.

THE BISON

A bigger – faster – better version of Jim Edmonds on defense?

One thing seems sure – Matt Kemp has alot more tricks up his sleeve that he will share with us all – as he discovers them.

Walkoff Web Gems?

No others pop to mind, but I gotta imagine some regular season games have ended with an over-the-wall catch by an OF – not that those are all beautiful.

Ken Landreaux catching a fly ball to end the 1981 World Series against the Yankees was beautiful in an entirely different way. Funny, but I don’t remember the last out of the 1988 World Series.

Bulldog finished the 88 WS

Hershiser ended the 1988 WS with a strikeout to complete the game as well as a magical season.

Missed that catch yesterday ( followed the game on line and the radio ) . So this was the first time I caught it. Beautiful, man. My imagination came up short. And the announcer tried too sound excited, but you can tell he was really deflated.

This was an amazing catch and an amazing game

but those pesky giants have a way of upstaging us every time we do something great

Curtis Granderson's

catch earlier this year robbing Sizemore of a walk off 2 run homerun and preserving a Justin Verlander 1-0 victory earlier this year was pretty awesome.

For this I'm sticking to Dodger memories
